“Great Location and Beautiful Rooms”
Reviewed 11 September 2011

Just returned from this hotel..was up there for a wedding, not at the hotel, but on a farm outside of Saratoga Springs. Many of the out of town guests like myself stayed at this hotel.. I am a Priority Club member.

The hotel is located right on the main street, very convenient to all of the amazing shops and wonderful restaurants in downtonw Saratoga Sprimgs. I was able to walk everywhere.

The rooms in the hotel appear to be recently renovated...it was a pleasant surprise to see such beautiful rooms. The bed was soft and cozy..carpet and furniture all looked new. A small refrigerator and microwave in the room was a nice touch.

The bathroom was very small..wished it would have been bigger. And there was no safe in the room- I always love when there is one. I used the safety deposit box in the main office.

The lobby was OK- clean but nothing fancy. The hallways of the hotel could use a bit of a makeover..they were clean but would have liked some updating like the rooms.

The hotel is not smoke free, but I liked the fact that the smoking rooms were all located on the first floor together, and not spead throughout the hotel.

The indoor and outdoor pool looked very nice, although I didn't use them.

I felt the price of the accomodations was a little high...we received a group rate for the wedding party, and still felt it was high. But there was so much going on in Saratoga this weekend, I guess they can get these rates. I am sure once the cold weather begins, the rates may go down.

The front desk staff was very cordial and efficient.

The last week end of the race track, I get it, expensive, but $400+ for a standard room, not even with breakfast, way over the top. At Least include something, robes, more that 3 thin bath towels???? Won't do that again.

Stayed here two different times during racing season and we were very happy with accommodations. The location in town is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. They do provide a shuttle service but we did not take advantage of that. Just wish rooms with 2 beds had queens instead of doubles but not really a big issue.

We have stayed here before and always find it to be up to Holiday Inn standards. We booked a smoking room and boy was it! Room was very clean and everything worked great. Bar and Resturant at the hotel are very good but you probaly will want to eat down on Broadway. They have a shuttle to the track that runs often and free washing machines and dryers. Could not ask for a better location except maybe the center of Broadway hotels. We do recomend however pridey like the rest of Saratoga in August.

Service was excellent, including great room service, which is generally hit and miss in hotels
The room was spacious and had everything we needed, it had a nice large bathroom, but the bath was a little small, although the rooms were fine, they were a little outdated. The room was very clean and neat.
We loved the location, it was within walking distance of the main high street in town and so everything we needed was close by.
The self laundry was very convenient also, with good facilities.
I most enjoyed the location and the staff, good service makes all the difference and this is what we got!
The hotel restaurant was good too, and reasonably priced.
It really is a nice hotel for exploring, I would love to go back to Saratoga when the racing season is on!

Room Tip: We got a larger room and the extra space was very convenient with a small child and not much differe...

I was staying overnight on my way to pick up children from camp. Everyone from front desk onwards was friendly, helpful and positive. As Platinum member I got a big upgrade (two-room suite) which was very nice! But in the end, it's still Holiday Inn - with in-room air-conditioners instead of central air/heat, and a rather old-fashioned feel.

just got back from saratoga springs, had a nice time just me and the wife.Hotel was nice paid 150 a night with priority club membership.Stayed in king size bed room,it was clean had view of pools which was nice to see if it was crowded ,which it .wasnt the whole time there , went in as early as 630am and as late as 900pm.Went to Max London restaurant .food was okay but ,pricey and small portions. Also ate at Country corner cafe a little place but good food at a reasonable price. Hotel restaurant Bookmakers wasnt very good , young staff and food was basic and to top it off ,twice during my meal found hair in my food. The nearby park was very nice alot of ducks but clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed are stay ,the horse statues around town are a nice touch and the people were friendly and helpful. One other thing the bathroom in the king room was small so ask for handicap bath,if you like to have some room in your bath area..
