This was just an overnight stay on my travel back home. The public areas of the inn are very well maintained. The check-in was handled quickly and in a friendly manner.
The elevator, being quite vintage, could be a challenge with for one person with multiple pieces of luggage. You have to hold open both doors with your body as you slip your bags then yourself into the (small) car. Not a show stopper but just be aware.
I had a single room which was clean and nicely furnished but a bit plain - I think some of the bigger rooms are a bit fancier. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The only negative to the stay was the air conditioner that only ran on the two lowest of the three speeds. It was cool enough in the room so I didn't need to report it until the morning.
I didn't get to explore the Historic District in which the Inn was located, but it seemed interesting and there were some nice restaurants within walking distance.
The continental breakfast in the morning was nice and more that enough to get off to a good start for the day.More
