This is a bit like staying at a charming, eccentric relative's house - if you're looking for a homogenized standard chain hotel room, it's not the place. On the 3rd floor, there's a shared bathroom, there's a lot of improvisation in the upgrades, and decor and furniture are French country of a certain epoque.
The hosts are very gracious and friendly, the continental breakfast was good, and the eccentricity and the right price makes this a unique experience. But make the most of it, the inn is for sale.
Mad Jack's brewery is just down the road, where their own craft beers are excellent, and the food good and reasonably priced.More
