First of all the name of the location is Starry Night Cabins. Those are not cabins. It's a motel in someone's backyard. There are no woods, one fire pit that must be shared with all guests, and the walls are super thin. We heard the guy next to us snoring all night, every night. We could even hear their full conversations. I'm sure they could hear us too. The free Wi-Fi is a joke. It's only free Wi-Fi when you sit outside and if you're lucky, you'll get two bars. When asked, the owner said that we should sit out in the parking lot, closer to the house to get better connection. We chose this place because it can free wifi so that we could watch a movie, find area attractions, and get directions to the attractions. The beach at the end of the road was a little sliver. The public beach was closed in June. What?? Memorial day is when most places open pools and beaches. Why was this one closed? So we decided to take the canoe that Starry Night Cabins lists as available. Its a 5 person canoe and only 2 workable paddles. And you have to have a tie down for it because they don't. We gave that up. That was also something that was a deciding factor in our choice there. In town most places close very early. So get your stuff done before 4pm. There was pretty much nothing to do in the area. If we wanted to hang out in our room all day, we could have stayed home. Big waste of money and time. They only nice thing about it was that inside the room was nice decor.
