We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful inn that surpassed every expectation from clean comfortable rooms with sleep numbers beds to excellent breakfasts every morning. We felt very welcomed the entire time we stayed and the owner was very accommodating. I travel a lot and usually have a difficult time sleeping while traveling but the comfortable sleep numbers king sized bed was so nice and relaxing I slept perfect every night. The property is conveniently located near all the local hotspots and attractions in a small quiet town off the beaten path. I highly recommend this inn and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Room Tip: I stayed in the green room and it was great very comfortable and welcoming

Our golfing group stayed last summer and we loved every minute----wonderful beds, delicious food, relaxing on the porch morning and evening, and best of all felt so welcomed by the owner. We will definitely return. Cindy and Jon

Everything was top-notch: clean, new, charming, etc. Hostess serves food from her own garden and works hard to see that everyone is pleased. One of the best B and B's we've ever stayed in. Toatlly renovated house.

Room Tip: Near Peak and Peek, close to Chatauqua..a little gem in a very small town. Wonderful hostess and fo...

What a delightful surprise to find such an outstanding establishment in a small, rural town. From the welcoming rocking chairs on the large from porch to the fresh, homemade breakfast, this place is warm, comfortable and breathtakingly beautiful. The renovations done to convert this nearly 200 year old house are exceptional, original wood floors, wide baseboards, crown moldings plus gorgeous and comfortable furnishings. Our room had a plush sleep number bed that felt like a cloud. They have done an excellent job of combining the original, historic feel of the home with modern conveniences including a full bath and flat screen TV in each room. The hostess is delightful, friendly; returning to her hometown after 30 years. We visit Sherman every few years to visit my family. It is so nice to have such a warm and comfortable place to stay without posing on anyone. The price is so reasonable for the exceptional quality of the accommodations.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entire dwelling has been tastefully renovated in the last year or so. Breakfast was both healthy and hearty and the host is congenial, helpful and just plain fun to be with.

A beautiful Historic 1840s home in the heart of Sherman. We were greeted warmly, shown to our "Green Room” (a comfortable king size Sleep Number bed) with a private bath. Georgia, the owner, gave us a tour and highlights of the complete remodel of this large home. Everything is first class and up to date. We walked about the small friendly town, where the small grocery store has a hitching post for Amish Buggies. We spent the evening sipping wine on the comfortable front porch and watching the goings on in small town America. How relaxing. The next morning we were greeted with banana bread and fresh coffee which once again we took on the porch prior to a homemade breakfast. Being centrally located in the wine region of upstate New York it made a great location for touring. We visited the Chautauqua Institution, Janesville (Lucille Ball Museum Home), went to an Estate Auction and visited the Peek 'n Peak Ski/Golf course Area. Back at the Inn, Georgia had cookies ready for us as an "Energy Break" in the afternoon. We watched the High School Homecoming parade from the front porch, where only in small town USA can you see such community spirit. Her graciousness and personal attention were refreshing after staying in chain hotels all over the country where you are just a number. If only all lodgings were so comfortable. It was a grand time and we will certainly return.
