The warmth and charm of this B&B was only surpassed by its location. It is in the heart of the charming 19th century village of Skaneateles. Each room has a view of Skaneateles Lake, one of the Fingerlakes. We were there to enjoy the Dicken's Festival (every weekend in Dec.) and were able to simply walk the one block from our B&B to participate and interact with the Dicken's characters.
Our hostess, Sandy, was able to tell us all about Skaneateles, the lake, and the history of the charming village and its people. She also made excellent recommendations for dinner and local trips expanding beyond the village and town.
I would give Lady of the Lake B&B a 2 thumbs up.
