I will start by saying that the staff was very friendly, that the local actually does have a German restaurant ambiance to it and that it has easy parking a few steps away.
However, the place does not offer the cleanest tableware nor does it offer fabulous food. Quite plain and expensive for what it is.
We were seated right at the entrance and had a lovely view on cleaning products which were posted at the window.
Not once did somebody actually think "we need to take all the cleaning material out of there!" Which I thought was interesting considering the menu's sit there and the staff is always refering to this specific spot. Did not enjoy eating while staring at all that.
I'm sorry but, it just isn't worth your time...there are much better places to have dinner in Southampton. Maybe just for a beer? :)
