Staff is well trained, location is ok, rooms are clean and spacious. There's no restaurant, however, the staff will quickly call in a van for you and you get a free ride to a restaurant in their "sister" hotel. That restaurant is good to very good and the staff is very good as well.
Breakfast in the morning is a coffee pot and a plate of danish left out on the bar, so figure just grab the coffee and go find a McDonalds on your way to your next stop.
The building is a conversion, and they really try for trendy with it. Nothing wrong with it, clean neat, good staff, shampoo, soap, the normal stuff, just really nothing to write home about.
It's a very nice facility with a very nice staff but the price for downtown Syracuse is a bit high.
