After much stress we final found this restaurant. What a wonderful meal. Small family owned restaurant located in a very nondescript shopping center off Brewster road. Italian flair. Severs no beer or wine, but you can bring your own bottle. Management and waite staff appreciate your business. Portions are very large.

Sorrento's is located in a non-descript location near a McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts in a small strip near the Syracuse airport. It is comfortable inside but your visit will be for the food not for a unique environment. Sorrento's did not have beer or wine when we visited but that may change. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner from the bread to the salad to the main courses. It felt like the chef was making everything from scratch in the kitchen. Portions were so large we easily had a second dinner the next day with what we took home. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient - they clearly were part of the team that makes Sorrento's operate smoothly. The menu included a variety of choices and children should be able to find something to their liking. Prices were very reasonable, plenty of options in the $15 dollar range but of course some items more expensive. Sorrento's had many of the standard Italian dishes you could find anywhere but also some novel options that were very appealing. If you like to support a local family run operation on occasion, Sorrento's is definitely worth a visit.

We were forced here because of car problems. (Very close to our hotel)
Casual setting, no alcohol sales, you can bring your own beer and wine.
Food was authentic, homemade and delicious. We had the meatballs, chicken piccata, and very good salads. Don't miss this place. Good service too.
