A typical red roof. The room was super clean, very comfortable and quiet. Located near the highway and a couple of restaurants within walking distance - Italian and a Denny's. Staff was helpful with directions. Best bang for the buck!

They call this area carrier circle because carrier heating and air had a huge plant here near by. They have since moved to Mexico. The are many hotels in the area and the red roof is right a ros from a Denny's. There is a ruby Tuesdays within a mile. Room are what you would expect from red roof and the staff is friendly. Housekeeping was minimum.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on your recent stay with us. We are conveniently located off of I-90, and you are correct that the Carrier Corporation has left the area. However, Syracuse does still have a lot to offer. We are also just minutes from Destiny USA Shopping Mall, the Syracuse University Campus, The Rosamond Gifford Zoo, the Erie Canal Museum, and a lot of other attractions. With our recent renovations, I do feel that we are the best value in the area for your dollar. We do hope that you will visit us again soon.

I don't remember the last time I stayed at a Red Roof Inn, but the combination of location, price, and good reviews made us give this hotel a try. We're glad we did. It was clean with landscaping that showed someone cares, renovated rooms, and friendly staff. Although the rooms are sparse, they have new beds that are reasonably comfortable, a spacious vanity outside the bathroom that helps with getting ready, and new flat screen televisions with a decent programming selection. They also have a microwave and fridge in the deluxe rooms. The front desk staff were great and judging by the cleanliness of the rooms, the housekeeping department is well run. The room smelled a bit funny and felt a little damp, but you get that in a lot of hotels. Maybe they could just air them out a bit more to freshen them up. Also, the coffee in the lobby wasn't to our liking, but it's free, so no complaints from us; we mention it just in case they want to look into a different brand or brewing method. We went to breakfast after hitting the road for an hour, so it wasn't a big deal.

All in all, it was a good value, and we would stay again.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms have a microwave and refrigerator

We are so pleased that you decided to give Red Roof Inns another try. We have come a long way in the recent years, with renovations and upgrades that have been made to the properties. At the Syracuse Property, we take a lot of pride in what we do. So, it is always nice to know that it shows to our guests. The recent renovations added all flat screen televisions, all new bedding, hardwood floors, and an upgraded cable package. It's refreshing to get positive feedback on these new items. We do hope that you will keep us in mind for your futures reservations.

Typical Red Roof Inn. Newer rooms. Clean wood floors. Lovely staff. Made me feel welcome. Gave me recommendations for restaurants, printed out menus for me. Next morning, gave me directions to gas stations, along with tidbits on which ones they preferred. This hotel gets an A+ for hospitality. Just lovely. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks for a wonderful time. My room faced away from Route 90 and was gorgeously quiet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces away from Route 90.

We stopped in Syracuse after returning from Batavia. Needed to pick up some produce in Syracuse the next morning. Did not want to spend 200 to 300 for one night being this was just business. We decided to try the Red Roof Inn.

The room was an outside and 2nd floor which we usually don't stay at outside type rooms. When we parked we noticed in middle of building there were elevators which was great not having to lug things upstairs. The room was super clean and looked fairly new. Everything worked well. For being off a fairly busy exit , it was pretty quiet.

We walked across parking lot and ate at I think Joey's Italian restaurant which was very nice and great food. The hotel does have a menu with room service if someone needed.

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If your going to be on second floor ask for a room in middle of building if you want to be close to elevators. We stayed in 129 a little further down. Room was nice and fairly new.
