We visit Frankie's on a somewhat regular basis. It is a smaller place, with an upstairs area used on busy evenings and is also used for parties and planned events. Being smaller it is very nice and tastefully decorated. The waitstaff is always polite, attentive and very well versed on the menu. The bartender is extremely helpful when a patron is interested in trying a new wine or pairing dinner with a wine selection. He also mixes some outstanding cocktails, try the chocolate martini.
The food is outstanding, in fact we use several of the menu items as our benchmark while traveling and/or trying new restaurants. Seemingly every night there are several specials, sometimes there are many specials. The chef, Bobby, does an outstanding job with offering new and inventive dining selections.
We have been frequenting this establishment for well over a year and plan on continuing to do so.
We also very highly recommend this restaurant.

Frankie's is one of the quieter restaurants along Syracuse's Little Italy. Less crowded and less noisy makes for a better dining experience. That said, the food at Frankie's doesn't disappoint. This was my third visit to FPB. For our entrees we ordered chicken Francese and a gourmet pizza, the babyface spinaci. The first two times I visited FPB, I found the portions to be decent and the quality excellent. This time, however, the Francese had a very small piece of chicken breast and what amounted to a quarter portion of pasta under it. While it was an extremely small portion, it was cooked and presented well. The chicken was high quality and the Francese sauce delicious. I only wish there were enough pasta to lap up the sauce that remained on the plate. The true treat was the spinaci pizza. While this is not a traditional style pizza in the literal sense, it was nonetheless special and delicious. The crust was very flavorful and the fried basil that was covering the sauteed spinach was melt-in-your mouth good. In addition, it was very reasonably priced. The spinachi alone will keep me coming back! Comfortable atmosphere and excellent service on top of good food makes FPB one of my favorite restaurants in Syracuse.

We had dinner last Saturday night @ Frankies. As always the food was wonderful.I have never had a bad meal there.
The resturant was not at all crowded and yet our waitress seemed to be rushing us.She kept coming to our table and asking if she could remove dishes from the table, before we were through eating.
The prices had gone up considerably since we last ate there, so this is a resturant we will save for a special occasion.

My husband and I have been to Frankie's a handful of times and keep going back. Every time we've had friendly and knowledgable servers, and the staff treats us more like friends than customers. The food is always delicious and unique, and their specials are always different and delightful. Dessert? Homemade and to die for. The limoncello ricotta pie and coconut custard are amazing! We'll be back for sure.
