I would love to be able to rate this restaurant with five stars but....After seeing the wonderfull menu posted for the Wellesley Hotel and Restaurant, my husband and I were extremely disappointed to be turned away from the completely empty restaurant due to our casual attire (He was wearing shorts and a nice button down shirt and I had on white capris, top, and sweater). We had come upon the restaurant unexpectedly while visiting the area and were very impressed by both the setting and menu. We enquired about a 5:15 seating but were told (with a very obvious look of disdain) by a young server that there were no free tables until after 9 pm. Interesting that a couple who arrived immediately before us with no reservation, casually dressed and with a young child were immediately seated. Based on setting alone I'm giving the place one star.
