Drove 5 hours and found the hotel to be much larger than expected. Rooms are nice. Beds very comfortable. Restaurants were varied and food excellent. Really enjoyed the steak house on the 21st floor and great bar area, also outside patio with a view.
The pool area needs something. 25 people and it's crowded. A few umbrella's would be nice. One pool is packed with kids and noisy. The outside patio is tough on your feet and is more like a walkway with a 7 foot wall to look at. Tear that down and open it up to the nice patio on the other side of the wall and open the outside bar area. There is a great area on the other side of this wall that is underutilized.
The other pay pool $10 per person is stuffy with poor ventilation and no outside access. No kids and very, very quiet. I feel asleep. Water warm so get right in.
The casino was not very giving so don't expect to ever get ahead. The slots have a weak payout. You'll have to put up with cigarette smokers in the casino area and some restaurants. Good ventilation in these areas but a lot of smokers are slobs and can't seen to find a ashtray. I am surprised in this day and age smoking is even allowed in so many areas. Hotel tower is smoke free. Cigars should be band. Saw too many people that parked themselves at a machine and no play or they were napping/resting.
