One of the best meals I have ever had. From starters to dessert, it was wonderful. The staff were great and when my son ordered the crepes, it was so wonderful to see them being cooked and all the ingredients being added at the end. The look on my sons face was priceless!

“we were blew away, totally”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

We went to this restaurant for three times during our 2-week holiday in mauritius. I liked the food much more than the other fine-dining restaurants I've been to (including a couple of michlin-starred ones in london). On the first occasion, we had the tasting menu. Every single dish was perfect. I especially liked the soup, which was the best soup I have had at any restaurant since I could remember. This restaurant is a must if you stay nearby; and a good reason to stay at the Maritim hotel (the hotel gives all-inclusive guests some credits to dine at the Chateau).

“Truly Mon Desir”

Fabulous brunch - we were able to linger for almost 3 hours over the delicious food and drinks. We sat outside on the terrace. Although this means there's no air conditioning the views are so spectacular we could have stayed there forever!

“Great restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

It is certainly one of the best restaurant in Mauritius, location is charming, service is very attentive, food is very classic; I would prefer something a bit more creative, but it is definitely a safe choice. I found it suitable for business and romantic nights.

“Good fine-dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Outstanding food and service. One or two of the deserts weren't quite 10/10, but close enough to still merit the 10/10 rating. The wagyu chateaubriand was delicious.
