We had a tasty meal here on a Friday night. Right away things started well when the proprietor made me a custom rum punch-I mentioned that most I had sampled elsewhere were too sweet, so he produced a lovely lime+rum+soda concoction which was gorgeous (Ti Punch, I think)-good enough for a second! I had grilled Dorado wrapped in banana leaf and my husband had the curried catch-of-the-day. Both were yummy. There is a decent wine list (if you don’t fancy rum with dinner) and the bananas flambé made for a grand finale to the evening. We only spent the evening in Grand Baie, but this was easily the nicest place we saw. Worth a try!
