I am very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The hotel is brand new and the decor is modern. Room size and amenities are quite nice. Staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast had a great selection. This hotel pays attention to the little details - chewy chocolate chip cookies at the front desk and my daughter loved the little take-away plastic cups for the juice. Highly recommended.

Stayed here one night en route to Ottawa. The double queen suite was spacious and adequate for my family of 3. Staff were very friendly and professional. Hotel is new and shiny. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was the standard but plentiful and good. Water in the indoor pool was a bit on the cold side, not sure if there was an issue with the heater. Only drawback to our stay was we could hear the TV from the next room late into the night and it wasn't exactly child/family shows...

Thank you for the review. I'm sorry you had a louder than anticipated neighbor. Please always feel welcome to contact us so we can rectify anything along those lines. The pool is back up to full temperature and warmer than warm. Come on back and enjoy a dip!

Our 1st visit here and we were impressed. New hotel, nice lobby, central location just off the expressway and near lots of shopping/restaurants. Super friendly and helpful staff who even serve up a welcome gift if you mention shopping. Bag with coupons, water, and snacks. The comp Breakfast was 1st class and great service from the lady running it

Stayed their on Marriott Rewards points so no upgrades although a good deal for 10,000 pts. Base room was a decent King room, a little small but comfortable with a desk area and chair with mini fridge / microwave. Excellent stop over point for Canadians on a shopping mission or venturing into the Adirondack Park. Hotel is located on the newer side of town and felt relatively secure.

One issue was was a few stray hairs in the bathroom and less than ideal clean-up there. Rest of the room was good just rushed the bathroom I figure. Another issue on the top floor is you seem to get some kind of mechanical motor noise like a seemingly from the roof and not elevator related?....slightly annoying if you are a light sleeper. Although I asked for a quiet room not near elevators thats where I was placed but it was not a noise issue at this location...some elevators are very noisy and people always talk louder waiting for elevators I find.

Room Tip: No traffic noise so any room will be quiet.

Our hockey team stayed at this hotel and it was very good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious and the bathroom was very large and clean. The shower actually had good water flow was much better than most hotels. The hotel was really close to all the places we wanted to go, ie arena and mall. It was close to all the restaurants. They only downfall was the lack of breakfast items for the boys, ie no eggs/bacon/sausage, etc. We ended up having to go to McDonalds because of this.

The hotel is within a couple of minutes from Exit 45 of I-81 located in a corporate park with a few other hotels and offices. Numerous restaurants (mostly chain) are nearby.

The hotel is new and very clean. Efficient and courteous staff - a definite plus. Lobby, hallway and elevators are clean. Our 2 Queen Bed Room was reasonably spacious - bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Room layout, amenities and power outlets are thoughtfully laid out and very useful. Microwave, a mini fridge, flat screen TV, free wi-fi, alarm clock with iPhone/iPod slot, numerous power outlets, an ottoman enhance the experience.

Coffee and tea are in the lobby - as well as in the room. Breakfast area is nice. Good solid breakfast with some hot items. I saw a small convenience store type counter area for take away salads, etc. - I did not use. USA Today newspaper is in the lobby. I saw signs for pool and exercise room, but did not avail of those.

Overall - excellent value. Highly recommended.

This Fairfield is brand new, only opened in September. We've stayed here twice so far, both stays were in King suites. We like the suites because the room layout places the bed far from the hallway. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Both stays we requested extra pillows and towels and they were in the room waiting for us.
The only caveat is that the bed is not a memory foam, as we have found in other Fairfields. The pillows and other bedding are great, but the bed isn't quite as comfy. BUT, it was still far more comfortable a bed than we've experienced in other chains.
Breakfast was the same as other Fairfields. They're really good about keeping things stocked. Our last stay was over Black Friday weekend and the dining room was busy at breakfast. But the staff was vigilant and made sure there was plenty of everything. This is NOT always the case at other hotels.

It was very quiet here, no outside noise at all. Also, we had full control of the thermostat in the room. The TVs were both excellent quality (King suites have two).

So except for the bed not being perfect, we give this Fairfield 5 stars. I'd only take off half a star for the bed, but I have to round up! :)

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the "back side" for an absolutely silent night!

As previously mentioned, this relatively new hotel has location, friendly staff, free internet and a decent continental breakfast. Our 2 night "Black Friday" stay also had a local newspaper (with ads) in our room upon arrival and a "to go" bag of nourishment (juice, fruit, muffin, granola bar) was available for those early morning bargain hunters. With lots of parking, an indoor pool and most importantly, no surprises, this hotel (like most Fairfield Inns) can be recommended without hesitation.

Room Tip: Floors above the first and odd numbered would be the quietest.
