Went to Selous Mbuyu Safari camp by Helicopter from Daressalaam Holiday Inn , a 45 minute
flight and landed at the entrance of the camp , had brunch at 12.00pm and while eating saw
across the river bank elephants, girrafe, buffalo and this was 20 minutes after landing
Took a nap at the pool side and at around 4.30pm went an a boat safari to the crocodile territory
where we saw crocodiles, hippos and snakes. There was no shortage of the variety of different
birds making different sounds , nature at peace. In the evening we sat down for unlimited drinks with barbeque. This was followed by 4 Masais performing their culture moonlight dancing around
fire. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Next morning coffee and pastries followed the 6'oclock wake up call and we left in a open safari 7 seater Toyota landcruiser for game Safari. This was amazing we saw impalas ,giraffes, zebras, baboons, elephants and 3 lions resting under a tree totally not interested with the visitors. The game vehicle had the bonus of silent disco with three channels to choose from. Arrived back at the camp to enjoy a very delicious breakfast after which decided to have a small work out in the gym. The tents had beautiful double beds run on the solar system with fan and veranda facing the river with seperate toilet and bathroom. The high pressure shower was an efficient tool to wake up. The 360 degree camera on the river bank with monitors in bar and reception keeps you updated on all visitors comming to the river bank . There is a view tower where you can sit and read a book while looking around.
