Earlier I had an experience of Desert safari but, this is my first Wild Life safari. Warm welcome.... Big Tents... Hot water..Indoor/Outdoor showers..Pool.. 3 lakes. There are Hundreds of animals right in front our tent, hippos, imphalas, giraffe, wild beasts, etc.,... view tower is awesome . when we started to safari, i was expecting few wild animals from far. but when the guide stopped the vehicle, lions are just 5 foot far from us. we are lucky enough to see the wild dogs. This was the first time in this year wild dogs seen as guide was addressed. fantastic group of Elephants activities, crocodiles at crocodiles Island, hyenas, zebras, etc., in Short we had "Fantastic & Ultimate Wild Safari Experience".

As the logo at the entrance of the restaurant say "Things end but memories last for ever" we had experienced an excellent welcome from the Mbuyu staff and had an unforgettable 4 day stay at this remarkable place.

We had visited the camp in search for a safari that will full fill our expectations for watching birds, crocs and species around the river. With the kind and informative personnel at the camp we managed to see more than we expected.

Another issue that we enjoyed was the clean tented camp and the breakfast served at the camp terrace over looking the river.

In particular i would say that the specialty of our visit was definitely the view from the tower situated at the end of the camp where we saw a family of elephants crossing the river. (Picture shared below).

Bearing in mind that the area is part of a natural reserve the continuous patrolling of the Maasai warriors, served as a piece of mind during our stay.

It was my first safari, so of course I was impressed. The camp (excellent location, next to river), the rooms, the animal viewing, all were great. The camp and our room had everything we needed. We were "on safari" 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening. We saw bunches of animals to include the Lions. We were surprised at how "off road" into the bush we went sometimes--good fun. Food was amazing, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all freshly prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We definitely want to do this again. Package booked via Holiday Inn Dar es Salaam(also highly recommended)

A great new safari camp located on the river where animals galore can be seen, especially from the viewing tower. Safari drives were excellent with very knowledgable guides. In three days we saw a myriad of animals including a recent kill by lions. The lake safari was a welcome way to spend a late afternoon and watching the sun go down over the camp and river was unforgettable. It is worth the drive to the hot springs where a swim in naturally hot water was a real treat.
Overall - one of the best safari camps we have stayed in and I could not recommend in more highly.

This brand new safari camp is the real deal. Its location on the majestic Rufiji River in the middle of the wild Selous gave us four days of seeing more lions, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, impalas, kudus, birds of all kinds, hyenas, etc. than we could ever have imagined. Thank God for the Maasai warrior escorts to and from the tents at night, because there were wild game roaming the camp as we slept. We saw many animals directly from our tent porch or from the nearby Viewing Tower. This is a spectacular place for families or groups of friends who want to share an unforgettable experience. Fresh and well-prepared food, charming and attentive staff, beautiful and luxurious tents with beautiful bathrooms, comfy safari vehicles. Most beautiful views of the river imaginable...
