Rooms have authentic Zanzibar beds, updated bathrooms, wooden shutters. Rooftop restaurant offers lovely view of Stone Town and sea. Loved the lemon grass incense in the lobby so I bought some to take home. Breakfast offered some Swahili options. Note the photo of the Aga Khan as you ascend the stairs and do a little research on the community's historic presence in East Africa. Service was courteous but some staff seemed a bit aloof.
