I thought this place was a bit overpriced for what it was. It was recommended to me by the Nkuringo Gorilla Camp so I expected something better for my $25 and also compared to what I would get in Tanzania for that price. It's a bit run down and neglected looking.

Dinner was good, breakfast OK. Staff helpful.

We sayed here for 3 nights around our trip to the gorillas. The guest house was immaculate. The shower was hot. From what I could tell, there was only one shower so we had to be strategic as to who in our group of 9 would shower and when. They provided shower shoes which was nice. Outside washing facilities are available for laundry. It's an easy walk into town from the lodge. You can book transportation for a fair price through the park office which is only a 7-8 minute walk from the guest house. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Television was available in the lounge area and we found the WiFi to be very strong in the lounge. We ordered food on several occasions during our stay and found that it was plentiful, delicious, and not expensive in the least bit. We loved the rolex as well as the chapati with guacamole. The food was made fresh so it took some time to prepare accordingly, but well worth it.

stayed in many places in south west uganda - the friendliness and the little extra care of the staff makes this place extraordinary in comparison to other guest houses of the same or even more expensive range.

Stayed for one night on completion of walk from Buhoma to Kisoro with Nkuringo Walking Safari.
This hotel would have to be the most excellent value for the self contained room that was situated around a inner courtyard. The room is smallish with single bed ,intact mosquito net, table and chair all very clean.Shower water was warm.Breakfast is included in the price however as I left at 0500 to catch the bus to Kampala I didn't have. Staff are very friendly, Ema the manager who drove me to the bustop and all the girls who are bubbly and happy to make your stay enjoyable.

We had a great stay to explore the beautiful surroundings. Try MUHAVURA mountain and lake MUTANDU.

Kisoro is a bit depressing and just a town to pass through. Countryside guesthouse is a great option if you're heading through. The rooms are simple but very clean with an ensuite and mosquito nets. We didn't have hot water through the shower but they did provide us with a bucket of hot water to use.
The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help.
Overall a good, clean, basic option.
