“Fantastic! Great Food Great Value”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Just stayed here this weekend with a group of us who were attending a wedding locally we all said how friendly all the staff were, A very well run establishment very comfortable and clean accommodation served up with excellent food.
We will make a point of stating here again!
Well done to the owners and staff.
SH Northamptonshire

Room Tip: The Swan is situated beside a fairly busy road so suggest a room overlooking the rear garden

Our second visit with friends - we enjoyed it so much the first time! Busy Sunday lunch time, so we did book. Really good choices of vegetables and three types of roast meat to choose from. The roast beef cooked to perfection. We didn't bother with a starter, but finished with excellent sweet choices and then our coffee. Staff friendly and efficient. We found the Swan meals of good quality at reasonable prices. We will definitely be visiting again and can thoroughly recommend. Should also mention that the chaps enjoyed the ale too :-)

Stopped in for a quick afternoon drink and received a warm welcome. Lovely old building with bags of history and a fine array of real ales. Martin sampled a pint of Pit Stop that had him wishing he wasn't restricted to one (he was driving).

Had dinner at The Swan today with my other half. We eat here reasonably regularly as live locally.
As usual, the staff were friendly and the food was great.
My other half had the slow roasted belly of pork which was really good with lots of very crunchy crackling. I had the cod and chips which was also very good. Unfortunately, no room for pudding today!

We stayed here for two nights. Good honest clean room, nice outlook over fields, plenty of wild life to watch as well.
The restaurant serves good food, plenty of it, you certainly don't have much room for pud!
Staff very firnedly and helpful.
All in all a very pleasant couple of nights. Would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back of the pub, but did not experience any noise at all, other than folks in th...

We stayed overnight Saturday 26th. The room was comfortable and clean. Good pub food and good real ale was enjoyed. The staff were made us very welcome and really looked after us from the moment we arrived until we left. Would be happy to stay again.

Popped in for lunch. I drive past this place regularly and the car park is always pretty full. Have been in a few times in the past but not for some time.

Bar was quite full but we ate in the restaurant which wasn't too busy. I had the Thai Chicken curry special ,which was very tasty. Other people with me had sandwiches which looked more than enough.

Good friendly service, good real ales and prices very reasonable.

Worth visiting if in the area or driving along the A1065.
