Ate here last night after reading the review on here....what a delightful, quirky little place, we loved it !!!! Ordered two thalis, watched the owner & his daughter preparing them.....consisted of a wonderful little salad, dhal with creme fraiche, basmati rice, & a little bowl of I don't know what, but it tasted absolutely divine ! I did ask the owner what it was, but I think it got lost in the translation !
I was full before finishing mine & had to offload some to my hubby, but loved the sound of the almond tart, so just had to try....delicious ! We washed our food down with two ridiculously cheap , but very drinkable pichets of vin blanc, & the whole lot came in at under €40.....just silly !
As the previous reviewer has stated, it's a brave move to try something like this in rural France, although Mirepoix is fairly cosmopolitan ....if you fancy something a little different, please visit this little gem, such foolhardiness should be supported, & I'm sure you won't be disappointed !!!
