This place is wonderful! All of the animals are rescues who get to live out their lives the way their lives should be. This is a great place to spend some time visiting with the animals and learning about them and the lives they once lived.

While at Farm Sanctuary we stayed in one of the cabins on their property. They were beautiful! The cabins are immaculate and well decorated. This was such a peaceful and relaxing trip. Can't wait to go back.

Although the Farm purports to be a Sanctuary for farmed animals it is also a Sanctuary for people. The experience of visiting Farm Sanctuary will have a profound, positive affect on you.

I wanted to take my teenage son here so he could learn why we are vegetarian before he is old enough to make his own food choices. My husband and I have been well aware of the horrors of factory farming and the unacceptable treatment of farm animals for many years, but a visit to Farm Sanctuary reaffirms the choice we made over 20 years ago to stop eating animals.

The farm is beautiful, set in the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes wine region, animals are well cared for and provided with clean housing where they can live out their lives in comfort and peace.

The tour is not all that long, so not a day trip, but a nice stop for families with children for a few hours. You may pet many of the animals at the farm, and they seem to be acclimated to humans coming and going.

I love the mission this organization has, and the way it is presented to the public. I wish there were more sanctuaries like this for rescued farm animals.

I enjoyed the tour at Farm Sanctuary and hearing all the stories about the animals. The place is kept very clean and the animals seem very happy. Most of them have horror stories about where they came from. They are very fortunate to be there. I wish there were more of these places.

Must be seen to be appreciated. You will see for yourself what some people choose to do with their lives - and this is on of those places.
