Stayed here with a friend on our way to Buffalo and had a wonderful time. The hotel seems brand new and is beautifully decorated and maintained. The double queen bed room we had was spacious and the beds were super-comfortable. The lounges, patio and restaurant are lovely as well. We had lunch on the patio and the food was very nice. After returning from a tour of some local wineries, we decided to visit the bar for dinner. Even though the restaurant had one large group of about 14 people and the bar had about 10 patrons, the hostess told us that the kitchen was "overwhelmed with the large parties" and any meal we ordered would take extra time to be prepared. We shared a cheese platter which we figured didn't need much preparation on the part of the kitchen staff. It seemed odd that at 9 pm the couple next to us was told that they couldn't even order entrees due to this overwhelming situation. This was the only negative to our stay. Otherwise, we will definitely return.

Lovely bright comfy rooms. This was a business trip that we truly enjoyed. In the middle of nowhere is this quaint little town with so much to do. The hotel is lovely & the food was good. The outdoor space is so relaxing. In the evening sit by a gas fire and enjoy a view of the harbour while sipping a great glass of NY wine. Doubt I'll return to Watkins Glen but would absolutely give WGH Hotel an A+ rating along with the town.

we had a wonderful stay! spotless, super friendly staff, big rooms, and the beds are incredibly comfortable! I felt a bit guilty when i booked it because it is a bit expensive, but from the moment we walked in to our room, i was so so glad i did! highly recommend it and i can't wait to go back for a longer stay next time

Room Tip: i was only staying 1 night, so i booked a "city view" room, when i got there I tried to upgrade to a lake view but there were none available. also, the rooms have no carpeting, so you may want to ask for the top (4th) floor as the person in the room above me chose to wear heels the whole time! but, it wasn't bad for me, might bother some people

The best place to stay on Seneca. Great view, super restaurant. Nice staff, excellent access to the wine region.

Room Tip: Get lakeside if available.

Only 4 years old and has all of the amenities you'd expect at this price point - very fresh and modern with a traditional design. Conveniently located, lots to do eat and drink closeby and top rated staff.
Nice touch was fresh coffee and tea in the hall each morning saving you the slog downstairs or making instant in your room.
Our favorite whe visiting The Glen or Corning.
