We booked for 2 nights and decided to extend with one night. Due to their reservation system this was a challenge because of the minimum of two nights. They couldn't extend the existing reservation with one day and couldn't book a new one for one day. Nevertheless they managed after some debiting and crediting.

The children did like the activities. Coins were hidden in the sand next to the pirate ship. Movies were great. No permanent residents so you have the full holiday feeling. Store is convenient and minigolf is nice and included. Swimmingpool is inside and very secure.

The sites were clean and you have a lot of choices. Garbage is picked up from the site every day. Some of the restrooms do need some attention.

We rented a cabin and tent site next to the cabin. We had a party of 5 adults, two young children and our dog. The cabin was clean and the tent site was great! Tons of activities for the little ones. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Golf carts were available to rent which made it convient for grandma and grandpa to get around the large campgrounds. Awesome place to stay and we will be booking next years trip in the upcoming months.

Our tent site was in a great location (we booked a year ahead to make sure we had a site with water/electric during the wine fest). We had access to the fitness room, pool, and hot tub. We had friends/family staying in trailers on the other side of the campground, so it was easy to head over to their sites to hang out.

My only complaint is that we shared the site with another couple (friends of ours), and so were charged fees for "extra" people...which doesn't make sense to me since if we were a family of 4, we wouldn't have been charged extra. Weird policy that made our bill much more $ than we had expected to pay to stay in a tent.

We stayed two nights , separated by a week in Michigan. The first night we elected to stay in the outer loop , lots of trees to sit under. If you were outside , you heard the snarling noise from the motor track .Pool and slide are closed now , but there is a hot tub , indoor pool , and fitness center available. On our way back , we stayed in the middle , concrete pad , pull-through site , cable and wi-fi available.Clean and plentiful restroom and showers.

Our site was very nice .. well spaced between other sites .. seems to be a good place for large rigs as well as some smaller sites. Restrooms were always clean when we used them. At least 2 playgrounds .. one of them having a Pirate ship building on it that kids could search for 'buried treasure' in the sand .. I'm sure kids would enjoy it. Only issue we had is noise .. campsite is situated very close to Rt 414 .. a well traveled road leading to Watkins Glen. From our site we could hear traffic on the road .. There is also a train track that runs right along side of road .. we've been woken up almost every night at 2am in the morning when train comes by. Other than the noise factor .. which campground can do nothing about .. we enjoyed our stay .. grounds were very well kept .. alot of hanging baskets on 'premium' sites.. separate shower stalls were also pretty nice. It's a good location to be in if your going to Watkins Glen State Park, Finger Lake Wineries and Watkins Glen International Racetrack.

This is an upgraded KOA with a variety of sites. After the paved entrance (sharp turns from the road and at the office), the interior roads and sites are reasonably well packed gravel. The park has been upgraded over the years with improvements to electric service, kid-oriented amenities, and many sites with concrete pads (with corresponding high prices brackets). We arrived late in the afternoon, and were escorted directly to our site, bypassing the office; a nice touch. This is a pet-friendly park, with a small off-leash area provided. Cable TV was acceptable but the “free Wi-Fi” was constrained to the point of being unusable, in addition to being totally unsecured (a definite no-no these days). Back-in sites are fine for smaller rigs, but the majority of the pull-thru spots (most of the newer spaces) are exceptionally large, long and well spaced. Stay away from site F187 in the lower level, as an out-of-control landscape irrigation system turns it into a mud puddle each morning. And beware the freight trains running about 100 yards away.

Stayed in L60 which is a deluxe cabin. One bdrm with queen bed and a real mattress - this room also has its own air conditioning unit. Other bdrn is very small with a bunk bed and they are camp mattresses. Loft has two twin camp mattresses - i thought they would have been real mattresses - loft is only 3ft high which was quite a surprise. Linens provided but beds not made - VERY tricky to make top bunk bed and loft beds.

Room very clean - nice bthrm (no tub). only a love seat and four chairs for around kitchen table. Living space very small for a week and if there had been bad weather. Living room also had air conditioning unit. We did not use air during our stay because of the fans and being in a shaded area - however, the loft was quite hot in evenings. We were four adults and two children. It actually never felt too cramped bc we were outside so much - enjoyed the picnic table and view from it.

Did not hear train at 2am as previous reviewers indicated - but did hear trains most nights around 8pm - VERY loud, but minimally bothersome as it didnt last more than a few minutes. Could hear road traffic but I have grown up in large cities and this does not bother me.

Great little store and LOVE the kid bucks - it paid for the HIPPO waterslide which was great fun. Pillow and pool also great. AMAZING - the pirate ship playground. Staff bury fake money in sand and you can dig it up (up to $2 a day) to spend in store. This occupied my 6 and 8 yr olds for hours!

We all enjoyed our stay and believe we will be back next year. The Gorge is a great hike as is the T (sorry cant spells) falls (45min away) and the swimming hole at the Tremen park - swimming right beside an amazing waterfall (closed due to weather breaking the dam, but should reopen next season).

Would really recommend this place. It ran about $200 a night which I thought was a little on the expensive side - $150 would have been more reasonable.

Room Tip: Any of the "L" rooms are deluxe cabins with bathrooms.
