Take a moldy bathroom and water stained bedroom walls, top it off with a weirdo owner then pay top dollar for the area and you have Glen Manor.
We went to Watkins Glen for a race my boyfriend was running. In order for me to be able to go and be his pit crew I was suppose to be able to do my business via email early morning and late evening.
The only reason we booked this place was that we were assured that we would have wifi. The first night I try to get emails and work my laptops shows no networks available. I call the front desk and I was told that they have wifi at their office so I should have it. I was told to roam the down stairs to find a signal. I did this without luck. The next day I tried again with the same result. I told the owner that I would need to check out since I had a business that needed to be attended to and she said that I should go to the cafe across the street. And why did I need wifi any way???? She would not let us leave without charging us the night so we stayed and I found wifi on the front porch. Have you ever tried to conduct business on a main street with trucks and motorcycles passing every few seconds and no power source for the battery?
We checked out the next day and found a wonderful, immaculate B&B near the race track. Bout Time is now our place. We had a quiet bedroom overlooking the lake with a huge home cooked to order breakfast. They also have wifi. Our room had a large porch and private bath. There is a pool and hot tub out back.
