We stayed at the Isrotel Ganim at Ein Bokek for three nights as part of a tour group. The staff was very helpful and attentive and the facilities were very nice.

The dining was included in our package and is typical buffet style arrangement. Very extensive range of choices were available for whatever your preferences might be.

Located a very short walk from the settling ponds of the Dead Sea, the hotel beach allowed for a classic "Dead Sea experience" where you can experience the effect of bouyancy in the very salty water. Be advised that due to the high concentrations of minerals that ANY slight openings in the skin, even recent shaving, can result in a quick and severely painful reaction.

Overall, the hotel is in a good location, the staff was helpful, and the quality was commensurate with the price.

Room Tip: Our room was one of several on the ground floor with outside patio entrances. This is a plus/minus s...

We had a pretty mixed experience at this hotel. It seemed to cater to Russians. The bathrobes are lovely. The room was nice and the shower excellent. But my parents had an adjoining (less expensive) room where the bathroom was much less nice and the room smelled of smoke. They saw a lot of small bugs on the ceiling and called for someone to deal with this, who came promptly. Another request for service in our room was not answered at all - we took care of it ourselves by finding a housekeeping cart. The pool is great. The spa was nice but crowded and the sauna is tiny. On our last day, the pool was closed (no advance notice) but they offered to bus us to the other Isrotel to swim. The food was excellent and the dining room staff were excellent. So as you see, it was mixed. Ein Bokek itself is a grotty place where it's nicest inside the hotels.

While on our brief excursion to the Dead Sea area, we stayed at a very comfy & posh (neither too elegant nor too elaborate) spa-hotel in Ein Bokek, along the Dead Sea hotel "strip," the Isrotel Ganim.

The hotel offered us expansive breakfasts (the various herring & salmon platters alone were truly alluring) and dinner buffet meals replete with a wide mix of meats (the freshly sliced pastrami was divine!), poultry, fish, cut & sliced veggies, potatoes (prepared every which way), and salads of every content, color & texture. Moreover, we made good use of the spa facilities (we each had a "rejuvenating" massage!) and the crystal-clear, ultra clean, buoyant & therapeutic Dead Sea-like saltwater pools in the spa area, not to mention the two large jacuzzi tubs we also took advantage of.

This Ein Bokek spa-hotel proved calm, commodious, and relatively quiet throughout - inside & out - and there were plenty of "beach" chairs, couches, and lounge chairs, also inside & out, in which to read, relax, nap, chat, or simply to imbibe a hot or cold drink.

Room Tip: All rooms are just fine - best, though to opt for a room on the Dead Sea side of the hotel, with vie...

I came with my boyfriend for a two nights in this hotel for the weekend.
The hotel didn't inform us that because of the Jewish holiday, in two days to come, we will not have bread or any thing else that is made out of wheat (such as beer, bread and ex') -that implicate on our horrible breakfast.
Also on the morning of the second day the hotel decided to close the main pool for the gussets and send the gussets with a bus to a different hotel without informing us that they are renovating the pool on the day of our staying.
After breakfast a few gussets waited for the manger in order to get an answer and he just said that he made a disicion in favor of the gussets that are coming the next day.
The room- new, nice and clean but my partner wanted a bath instead of a shower. All rooms are faced the sea, on every floor you can see the sunrise.
The pool on our first day- was ok, everyone are smoking near the pool, in the pool and although it said your not aloud - no one is supervised that.
Location- great location, center and close to shopping center.
I think that if you want an hotel that is close and near the beach, and the shopping center and cheap this is the hotel.( taking under consideration the above)

We've just came back from an enjoyable weekend in Isrotel Ganim Hotel. The Isrotel chain of Hotels is considered to be one of the best in Israel and Isrotel Ganim mostly meets the expectations. The Hotel looks plain and simple from the outside, conventional long rectangle white painted building with no terraces, however entering the Hotel reveals a beautifully renovated interior with a modern up to date reception area and comfort and welcoming lobby. The Hotel was completely renovated when acquired few years ago and it shows in every aspect.
The room we got on the third floor was spacious and modernly designed and equipped with a king size bed and a comfortable sofa. We loved the nice and welcoming bathroom and especially the rain style shower. The room has a kettle with coffee and tea, flat screen TV, two cozy bath robes in the wardrobe and a safe. Room could be perfect and get a full score if we could find two mandatory items for a 5 stars Hotel, tissue paper and Hair dryer. We later called room service and quickly received a new box of tissue paper and this was fine, however, I would expect to have it by default in a 5 stars Hotel room.
The SPA is very nice, clean and tidy and has two pools with warm salty water from the Dead Sea, two Jacuzzi tubs and has large windows and a door to a large wooden terrace facing the Hotel garden and the Dead Sea, the terrace equipped with deckchairs is a nice location to relax following the hot salty water bath.
As for the dining and food, the dining room is spacious and was never felt crowded although the Hotel was fully booked, food was good and most of the people will find is rich and tasty, however in my opinion the other Dead Sea Hotels I reviewed Lot and Royal Rimonim had better food, especially Royal Rimonim, but there is a big plus for Isrotel Ganim which compensate for that issue and this is the fact that Wine, Beer and soft drinks are served free of charge during dinner, I have to say it is the first time we've encountered this level of service and we have enjoyed it tremendously, especially the red wine (not mentioning the beers... :-)

Great hotel right on the dead sea. Very good breakfast and dinner. As I recall, free wine and beer were served with dinner, which was found no where else on the trip. This is definitely a nice resort.

A few years ago I stayed at this hotel with a tour group before they did major renovations. It was pleasant, the staff was friendly and the food was wonderful. I enjoyed my room as well.
A few weeks ago I came again as a private person with my family and enjoyed the newley renovated hotel. What they did to the pools and outside deck area looks beautiful and is very aesthetic. I have to commend them on this, but I was very disappointed to find that they had ripped all the bathtubs out and replaced them with showers that leak on the bathroom floor. Why did they do this? The tubs were just fine and as there was the option of taking a shower. It was also not very good for our little child who is afraid of showers…
The staff were still pleasant like before and the food was good. I just wish they didn't have to remove all the bathtubs from the rooms. If I had known about this before I would have looked for a different hotel that had a the option of having a bathtub in the bathroom instead of only a shower.
