We have been coming to this hotel for many years. Each summer the hotel has a week for orthodox Jews where they have two beaches and separate hours at the beach and spa for men and women. The hotel acts in a completely "couldn't care less fashion". We have the hotel until 11am on the final day; by 9am there were men in the pool during women's hours and women on the mens beach; the drinks machines were broken and at times even cold water wasn't available in places; they remove most of the facilities; the food was almost the same every day. Advertisements describe Shabbat food as "Dine like a King" - if I was a king I would have the Chef executed. The food on Friday night was a regurgitation of the previous days; down to the kids food of hot dogs and "chicken" rings which I had already seen three times. The floors downstairs were wet and dirty; the tables in the dining room were missing basics like knives and forks. The fences they put up between the mens and womens beaches fell down in places and weren't repaired; the jacuzzis weren't working on the final morning and the pool was filthy - haven't they heard of a robot? This is on top of the fact that we paid almost 800nis more than last year for the same period of time and a check on their website showed that the price dropped by the same 800nis the following week for the secular clientele. Truly disappointing. On the other hand, the room was clean and large, and I have to admit that I go for the sun and sea and try to ignore the rest.

Room tip: When you book ask for a balcony.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Israel, and the minute we walked in, they had fresh fruit and lemonade waiting for us, with complimentary Dead Sea mud bags to use in the water, with bath salts of minerals to put in the tub later! The rooms were beautiful, every one had a gorgeous view of the sea and a wide balcony with table and 2 beds outside! We were treated like queens and kings; the buffet is out of this world with so many top cuisines there I couldn't decide what to eat!! The breakfast was excellent too. The free beer and wine on tap along with the other juice and ice near the water was a plus too, all you can drink! Loved the store inside the front lobby for last minute purchases. The free ice cream cones at night were a perfect end to our day there!

Room tip: aim for the middle, the higher the better.

The only thing good about this hotel is the Dead Sea, itself, and their pool. The rest of the hotel is completely falling apart. There are dark halls that are actually scary to walk down. The mildew smell was pervasive. The breakfast is OK, but overblown. Other neighboring hotels can't be any worse.

Room tip: Go to another hotel

We arrived to this hotel for a vacation with another couple, and asked for two close rooms. The room that we got was dirty. there was graffiti on the walls and ceiling that someone tried to clean but didn't succeed. The carpet on the floor was so dirty that, after a bath, i walked with barefoot in the room, after 6 steps i saw that my feet was dirty again. The bathroom was mostly broken and missing parts of the wall. The room that we got was with a balcony, but we couldn't use it because the air conditioner compressors of the dining room was right under our window and made terrible noise.
The atmosphere in the dinning room was terrible as well. All the stuff was running and made the atmosphere very nervous. The head of the stuff was shouting at his employees. One of them even pushed me once because i was on his way. I thought that it was because we went on the peak hour so on the next day we went an our before the closing time. the dinning room was all dirty and food was on the tables with no people. we couldn't find a free table so we moved some plates to another dirty table and set down to eat. 40 minutes we were eating in a place that looked like a dump.
Once we exited our room we saw a stuff member caring towels, (since we were with our baby on a double room, we dint get a third towel for the baby), we asked her for another towel, she stopped, looked at us, and continued walking with no comment. After i shouted at her, she told us that we need to call the reception for this.
The whole area of the swimming pool was always dirty. No one cleaned or gathered the garbage cans for 3 hours, so the garbage was all over the place.
No body enforced the non smoking rule, and i needed to argue with people why their cigarettes are damaging my baby.
The hotel is all inclusive, but when i asked to play pool, they told me that i have to pay 50 shekel extra for this with a lame excuse.
The parking of the half parking space and half old rooms and broken furniture space. The people who didn't want to park there, parked their cars on a non parking places and blocked the entrance to the parking spaces and the entrance of the hotel. since there was no enforcement people even parked on the emergency exit and firemen truck space in case of fire.

unfortunately it was the worst vacation i have ever experienced. i came back home frustrated because we paid lot of money for this vacation and didn't enjoy it at all.

We stayed there over a year ago and after I wrote the review, a hotel representative called me and following a long discussion she promised to make good and send me an invitation or an upgrade for a next visit.

Well, the invitation never came nor did the upgrade offer, but on a spur of a moment, while driving through the Dead Sea area with a couple of friends, we decided to spend a night in the area and went on to check availability.
This time the Hotel managed to stop us dead in our tracks, and right at the door! When my wife got out to check availability, a rude young girl stooped her at the door to the hotel lobby and started to interrogate her about her purpose for entering the hotel. No greetings, no good afternoon or how are you, just why are you here and you need to be a "hotel Guests to enter"

Well, i guess with this was the end of our attempt to give the hotel a chance to redeem themselves; Needless to say, we will no longer stay or visit this hotel

Room tip: Isrotel, just across the street, is a much nicer hotel
