Do yourself a favor and stop here! First you'll wander up the hill (County Rd 60) and think you might be lost, then in huge letters on the side of the hill there is the big sign OBRIENS and you are in for a wonderful experience :-) The panorama is spectacular and our room was charming, as were the owners Paul and Mary. We had a room with a balcony and amazing view of the valley. Gorgeous sunset, very romantic :-) An older property but well tended. Bathroom walls were tiled and gleaming, windows were spotless, bedding was white and crisp with 4 fluffy pillows and firm but not hard mattress. Fridge and micro, wifi with strong signal, complimentary local paper. At first we were disappointed because the restaurant wasn't open but they have a cute little bar on the premises, decorated with fascinating local history, and we enjoyed an excellent pizza and hot wings. We'd go out of our way to stay here again! While late summer when we visited, it must be breathtaking in the fall, stunning in the winter, and lovely in the spring.
