“Relaxing environment”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

The hotel is located in a paradise.

The swimming pool in front of the beach, the bucolic atmosphere of the hotel, with a large garden with a lot of coconut trees, create a vey relaxing environment.

The localization in the end of the 3rd beach, near the nightlife of the 2nd beach and natural aquarium of the 4th beach is another strong point of the hotel.

The restaurant is one of the best of Morro de São Paulo. The price and the quality is excellent.

The staff is very friendly.

The hotel must pay attention to small details like policy of washing towels, light in the apartments, swimming pool furniture and password to wireless internet connection.. As the hotel is not a cheap option, the administration must take care to these details.

Another point of improvement is the breakfast, poor to the Brazilian standards and with a very slow reposition.

Despite of the price, the hotel is one of the best options in Morro de São Paulo.

Located on a quiet beach on the stunning island of Morro de Sao Paulo overlooking the sea set in well maintained gardens with a large pool, this is a fantastic place to stay.
We stayed one night in a deluxe suite which was amazing - the nicest place we have ever stayed. 4 poster bed, contemporary decor, a decking area with hammock overlooking the seafront and we even had a spare room. We spent 3 more nights in a standard room, which was also lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly, location was great ( a short walk from the more busy second beach and town) and we didn't want to leave!!

Room Tip: Spoil yourself and get a deluxe room. Try stay on the third beach, rather than the fourth beach. The...

The Rooms were very simple and the bathroom had leeks and stop on the toilet. It SAS not worth the money they charge for the night. Breakfast was below average. Such a pitty! Perfect location.

Very nice hotel. Large rooms, beautiful views. Morro de Sao Paulo itself is already amazing. The breakfast is very good and full with delicious Brazilian specialties! The rate was ok taking in consideration everything in morro is very expensive, specially if you are tourist. Overall very nice place to stay, will definitely be staying here again next year.

We stayed here for one week. It is located on the third beach which is far enough away from the port/town to be peaceful yet close enough for a short walk to the action. On arrival at the port we hired a 'taxi', which is just a guy with a wheelbarrow, to transport our baggage to the pousada. The staff were courteous on our arrival. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the service is very good. The pousada is right on the beach so there was a lovely view of the ocean from our room's balcony and from the pool side. The grounds are extensive, well maintained and are planted with coconut trees and tropical plants. When we return to Brazil we will certainly stay here again.

I found this place lovely!
I was in vacation with my girlfriend and we were looking for a quiet place, actually morro the Sao Paolo is not so quiet anymore but this posada is located at the end of third beach, so that you are close to everything but not IN...
I stayed in a beautiful bungalow...the place is huge with lots of coconut palms.
The service is kind and the breakfast very good.
And you can ride orses on the beach...I would be there now!!!

On a lovely trip to Morro de Såo Paolo, we stayed at Pousada Fazenda Caeira.
The breakfast was delicious – fruit, yogurt, fresh breads, flans, desserts, cereals, juices and coffee. The location was on a beautiful sandy beach and the staff was very helpful and responsive to requests for assistance. We paid about R$190 or U.S.$100 a night for a front, ground floor unit.
All rooms were clean, with air conditioning, a mini-bar and lock-box. The furnishing of the rooms was quirky without respect to the room rate. Some rooms had chairs and pictures, a closet and a bureau. Others had only a bed and huge empty expanse of floor. Room 9 was just a bed – not cozy. Room 7 was a lovely hexagonal shape with a bed, chairs, pictures and a place to hang clothes. Upstair, view rooms were more expensive, yet trees were too high to see over to enjoy the beach view. In addition, the stairs were situated in a way that people in adjacent rooms would walk through your porch and hammock space. The beds were a bit hard for my taste; however, others in my group found them agreeable. Some rooms had mosquito nets, others had plug in repellents. There were gaps in the sliding windows and shutters that allowed mosquitoes to come and go. The bugs, fortunately, were not too bothersome. The plumbing was also a bit problematic. To be environmentally sound, there is a restriction: no toilet paper in the toilet. Fortunately, housekeeping cleaned out the bathrooms once a day. The water in our shower did backup. The sink faucet, instead of making a U and pointing down, pointed straight forward!?? We enjoyed our stay, but I confess I was a bit anxious to leave. Dos Corais, next door, looked a lot better, but twice as expensive and it was farther down the beach.
