The staff are great and very friendly. The rooms are very clean and they have a great view. Deffently will go back. Breakfast is great also. It's also a great distance fro. The beach and the restaurants.
Stayed for three nights and it was ok. I wouldn't rush back to the hotel or to Morro.
Although it's beautful it is overrun with tourist which results in some of the charm being lost. You could be anywhere in Europe really. There is also not a lot to do here if you are fairly active (that I saw anyway)
The hotel provided a good breakfast and staff where friendly.
The only negative was that during a rain storm the ceiling of our room leaked heavily and all down the walls and over the electric, creating a large puddle in out room.
We had a room on the middle floor. Room and bathroom was a little small. Had a balcony and a hammock. Safe was a bit temperamental to use. Internet only in the reception. Reception staff friendly but didn't speak much English. We stayed three nights for which this was fine.
Since the pool was under maintenance we got upgraded to a really huge "apartment" with two rooms, big bathroom with jaquuzi and balcony with hammock. Wish they had other furniture in the living room and the balcony for more comfort and chill out, but other wise we were really happy with this place. It's quiet but close to everything. Breakfast is good, best hotel coffee I've had in Brazil. Staff is friendly though don't speak too
much English. We were supposed to stay shorter but extended for more days as we loved Morro and really liked this place.

Me and my girlfriend visited Morro second time on the same month and we want to get the best room on the island for the a good price (it doesn't mean the most expensive). We most of the hotels and the locations and we decide to visit the most 4 prestigious (Ilha da saudade, wan't one of them) after we seen them all and understood the price range 220-450 but we didn't understand why (little bit better than a room for 100 Real) the guy who helped us with our luggage showed us this hotel. The more luxurious rooms on the upper floor were AMAZING! stunning view (see by your self) and the room it self was very good! Much better than the over priced (don't know why hotel like- Dos pedros, Portal and others). Every thing was excellent- the breakfast, the stuff amazing and very helpful especially Tiago who don't know English but ready to help with google translate : ) More than that he advised us to shorter our stay in the island in order not to miss our flight from Salvador (a very good advise!).
If you are a couple that want the best room in the island but not overpriced (best value) THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE!
