“Adequate for our 2 night stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

Beds were very comfortable especially after travelling for over 40+ hours to arrive. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom is a little old but clean and functioning. Staff at front desk were slow to check everyone in. Lovely restaurant only a 5 minute walk away and in the other direction there is a supermarket. There is a safe in the room. In-room wi-fi was relatively slow but at least it was complimentary! Breakfast was sufficient.

Great hotel in Cuiaba having been fully renovated to 4* standard. We had a king suite which was large to say the least, floor to ceiling windows, lcd TV and all the conveniences you could want. Sofa bed was a double comfortably sleeping a 3rd person. Bathroom was modern - everything in the hotel is!

The area has a couple of restaurants and bars but not as lively as downtown so if you stay long you can have a short taxi there.

English speaking staff were present and ever helpful. The hotel bar has a HUGE array of Brazilian and international beers paired with a knowledgeable bar man! Prices are good with beer bottles at about 5-6 real /£1.50 and steak meals 30-50 real / £10 (even as room service...).

I think I would rate this as the best IHG hotel I have stayed in world wide so throughly recommend!

This last stay was very disappointing because they took about 45 min to get me a room and what I heard the staff talking the hotel was overbooked and they were waiting a room that was just vacated to be cleaned to be set for me. Despite that, the room and breakfast was good as usual and now they serve a buffet for lunch and dinner.

After our week luxuriating in Pantanal nature with rustic accommodations we were enchanted by the very large comfortable beds, the spacious room and the grocery store across the busy street. Yes it was a far cry from handmade liquors, fresh piranha dinners and onca pintada sightings but it was welcome to have a strong shower and a clean room. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff was outstanding at helping us find the Museum of Indian artifacts. It was the best HIE we've ever stayed at. Thanks!

This hotel is good, very spacious room, really comfortable queen beds, the staff are welcoming and the breakfast is good.
The down side is that is quite far from the downtown but there couple supermarket, a pizza place, a china food restaurant and a subway near by.

We stayed one nights a stop over before going into the Pantanal. The hotel is clean, comfortable with good amenities. It's just a little too far from the airport and the wrong side of town from the Pantanal which makes it a little inconvenient.

We are Priority Club members and choose this hotel because we are loyal HIE customers. The room was nice, clean, comfortable beds and a great breakfast.

However, there is NO shuttle service to the airport. I find this really annoying, there are two shuttles parked outside and I saw them at the airport on a previous trip. But when I called for shuttle pick up I was told it is ONLY for flight crews and there was no room for paying customers.

Not a good policy for the loyal Priority Club members. I hope in the future this policy will be changed.
