This is a great park for picnics. There is no swimming however. Across Lake Rd. is the pier and beautiful views for walking and sunsets. I belileve reservations need to be made for shelters, check the website.

I grew up in Webster and used to go to this park every week.
Sunsets in the summer, sledding in the winter.
The pier is a nice walk and i have seen some people catch some huge fish out there.
Sitting on the hill in front of the white house to watch the sunset is the best spot, but it has become VERY popular for weddings now, so be warned it will be packed on the weekends.
10 years ago - it was a great park, lots of police presence and felt like a safe place. Last time i went, not so much. There were sketchy homeless looking people in the parking lot looking in all the car windows..... hopefully security has increased there. Still a beautiful place though, best park in Webster.

When I lived in Webster, I always brought visitors here, and often brought the children I lived with here. Our church camped here and used to have a "snowday" service.

Even though there was still snow on the ground we enjoyed a short hike through Webster Park. From great lake views to thick forests, from manicured picnic areas to trails through the wood the park has a little of everything. We were very glad to see that they support geocaching and we grabbed a few fun one while on our walk.

the park itself, with the Lake Ontario shoreline, is pretty...many uses park.....and we happened to use the Lodge for a wedding reception and it was terrific...much space, and the ability to bring in any touches that we wanted; the catering group said it was a joy to work there, too. But in general, walk all around the shore; enjoy hiking or skiing in the park in winter; never say no to Webster Park!
