We had the first floor apartment in this lovely cobbled street in St Emilion. It took our satnav a few attempts to get us to the right street but we were pleasantly surprised by our surroundings when we arrived. We met Sidney in the wine shop downstairs. He was very welcoming and helpful with parking suggestions and sightseeing ideas. We were able to park out the front to drop off our bags and the same when it was time to leave. No dragging bags along the cobblestones to the car. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed inculding a new washing machine. The bathroom was very spacious with a full shower. The kitchen was well stocked, the fridge had everything we needed for breakfast the next morning. Fresh bread and pastrys were delivered to our door in the morning, what a treat! St Emilion was a great place to vist. The church tour is a must. While we were there they had discovered a burial site in front of the church and were slowly unearthing remains. Ask for the key at the tourist centre to clumb the tower for a fantastic view. This would be a place we would certainly return to on our next trip. Thanks Sidney for a lovely experience.

Room Tip: If you don't like stairs ask for the first floor apartment, very easy to manage.

Really nice inn very close right in the old town, no parking but that's not a massive problem. The hotel is more of an apartment block, consisting of three apartments, we stayed in the Jeroboam which is in the middle.

Great view front and from the bedroom plus a nice breakfast at the apartment. All really good.

Room Tip: Remember that there is no aircon so do not stay in the top unless it is cool

Rented a car at Bordeaux TGF station. Drove to St. E. Drove to front of Les Logis and dropped off our bags. Found free parking on the road down the hill. From Les Logis we walked everywhere in St. E. Lots of really good restaurants close by. Stayed 6 nights. Took car for day trips to Medoc, etc. Stayed in the Magnum suite. Very comfortable, very clean. Good breakfast. Used the washer and dryer and they worked fine. Modern shower, no tub. Clean towels everyday. We were there at end of May, weather nice, not too hot. Did not need AC.

My wife and I really loved both St. E and Les Logis du Roy. We were there with two other couples. They loved it too.

Room Tip: Top floor is hottest. We were one floor above ground.

This property has 3 fully-equipped apartments in the building, which is in the heart of the St. Emilion old town. This was a perfect choice for our group of 3 couples, with one apartment on each level. The rooms are quite large (by European standards), with very nice bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. We particularly enjoyed having the breakfasts provided in our suite. Coffee, tea, orange juice, cereal, milk, eggs, ham and cheese were replenished in the refrigerator each day and fresh croissant and baguettes were delivered to our doorstep in the morning. After staying in hotels throughout France, we enjoyed the comfort of having our own private apartment. Since there are steep stairs and no lift, we would not recommend staying here if you have difficulty on stairs. Also, the parking is down the street, so be prepared to drag your suitcases over cobblestone streets. We will stay here again on our next visit to St. Emilion.

Room Tip: The Jeroboam Suite can easily sleep 4, with two beds up a ladder in a loft.

We spent two nights in St Emillion as part of our honeymoon.
It was a perfect compliment to the quaint, small town St Emillion.

We arrived at the train station which is about a 1km walk to the town. If you have large suitcases be warned there is not a formal concrete sidewalk into town so we ended up walking on the road- drivers and cyclists were all very accommodating considering.

Anyway we arrived early so the owners kindly stored our bags. We had lunch in the restaurant attached and by far was one of our most memorable meals- seasonal, reasonable and delicious.

Room- we stayed on the third floor, the set up is to accommodate 4 people with a mezzanine floor being the second bedroom.
There are heaters, washer/dryer, separate bedrooms and living area. Kitchen is well set up with crockery, cooking utensils. Just what you need.
Breakfast- there are eggs in the fridge, preserves, milk and butter and a breadbasket with baguette, pastries, ham and cheese is delivered in the morning.

We didnt receive replacement eggs or cheese or ham on the second day but this was following the easter weekend and town was quiet and quite a few restaurants and shops were closed.

We were recommended two restaurants both were amazing. I recommend this little bed and breakfast- we really were very central, everything was clean, it was cozy and romantic. The wine shop downstairs is also recommended and more reasonable than some of the other merchants in town.

Room Tip: I was lucky enough to sneak a peak of all three rooms when we were leaving as they were being cleaned. They all looked lovely, homely and different. Its a quiet town so dont worry about noise.
