The opportunity to ride behind a 100 year old steam train from Paimpol to Trieux a quaint village that sits on the banks of the river Trieux. The service runs in the summer (Check dates through the web) with various events and also a stop in the countryside and a house surrounded in mystery of the Sezanac case of murder and greeted by Bretagne pipes, cider and pancake. Onwards to Trieux and a 3 hour break to explore, lunch or picnic. Eventually time to return and chug back to Paimpol. A superb day and ideal for families. Our day was spent in glorious sunshine and what cannot be enjoyable riding the rails on a 20km journey behind a 100 year old steam train and not many run in France.
