We enjoyed very much staying in Le Chateau de Reignac.
Countering our busy lives with full time (and more) working weeks for both of us, in addition to raising a child, we enjoyed the quietness of the Chateau and the area.
The room had plenty of space for the three of us and the service was excellent.
We tried dinner in other restaurants as well, but absolutely favoured the excellently prepared meals with matching local wines and the perfect service in the quiet and beautiful Chateau garden. The garden is home to spectacular trees of 300-350 years old, dating back to historic owners of the Chateau, which by the way, can be explored and enjoyed nearly completely. For a week we felt what the original inhabitants must have felt. We truly felt like living like a Marquis in France.
