We visited La Voute on the strength of the reviews here on Tripadvisor. And as usual, the Tripadvisor community knows a good thing when they see it.

The food was well prepared, and the service friendly. The fish was so fresh that they brought it to your table before they cooked it.

I particularly enjoyed the fish soup, while my dining companion enjoyed the cheese cannolini.

My only complaint is that this restaurant is so small that the front door literally opens up into two tables. So make sure you ask for a table away from the door, or you will have people walking in/out of your meal all night long!

Highly recommend the price Fixe menu. Very good! Arrive hungry, it was a lot of food! And very crowded. The word is out!

La Voute is a very pretty place with a terrasse smack in the middle of Piana, famous for it stunning pink cliffs near Porto. It offers an extensive menu. I had an exquisite full course meal with St-Jacques and crab as a starter and entire fresh local fish cooked to perfection for the main course. Service is friendly and flexible, they did not hesitate to remove"professionally" the fish bone to help me out and switch the potatoes for homemade fries that were't even on the menu! Unforgettable experience. Excellent value for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

This was a nice restaurant, with good & efficient service. We stopped here for lunch one day and were not disappointed. I had the 3 course 20E land menu with an okay pork terrine, tasty but fatty grilled lamb chops served with amazing with in-season Corse cheese cannelloni, and a good chestnut cream dessert. My husband had the 4 course 22E fish menu: fish soup (delicious), fish (large & tasty portion of 2 fish), cheese course (excellent) and tiramisu (excellent). The fish menu is great value but my cannelloni alone was worth the entire price. Recommended.

We returned three times to La Voute. The food is excellent and served by the ever friendly owners, Joseph and Antonella. We liked the atmosphere there in a cosy cellar style setting. The restaurant fills up after 7.30 so get a reservation if you wish to eat there! We found the Table D'hote to be the best value and this ends up with a liqueur - myrte - on the house.
