We ate at the Abbaye de Camon on the advice of our local hosts. It was a wonderful meal and superb atmosphere. A set tasting menu without options might frighten some people, but after this meal I would trust this chef totally. Every course was excellent and one could taste how fresh each ingredient was. Beautiful presentation too of each plate and of the table itself. Tables are ranged under the arcades around the verdant cloister courtyard of this 16th century abbey whose origins actually go back to Charlemagne's time. Service was impeccable. A warm welcome for an aperitif on the terrace preceded the dinner. We would go back regularly for this excellent food if we lived in the region.
