Just got back from a stay at beautiful Mythos beach! food, weather and staff was amazing. really loved that you get your own towel from the hotel and the hotel has a very nice private beach where you can enjoy a moment in the sun as it should be. I think me and my family would have stayed at that beach all the 14 days if it wasn't for the amazing animation team at Mythos beach. My sons really loved it playing and having fun all day with Carolina and Ezster and my husband was almost allways hanging out at simons activities. Thank you so much Balu and his animation team for making a good holiday at a very nice hotel to an extraordinary stay. Really really hope to see you guys next year!!

Almost one month since we returned from mythos and just relized I didn't recommend it yet. Usually I don't like all inclusives cause they're always seem to cut the expensives with budget stuff everywhere, but not in mythos! Only the fact that they give you bottles of water when you ask for water is amazing and the food is good enough to make me wanna come back next time I'll get the opportunity!

Another thing that has to be mentioned is the animation team. The hotel itself is very good but I don't think they could manage without Balu and his energetic animation team. Its a nice hotel but what makes it funny the second half of the vacation and what makes you wanna re live this vacation is all the fun activities and evening shows. Especially the shows handled by the animation team.

We'll definatly be back next year if the animation team is the same.

Had a wonderful holiday on the Mythos, the hotel is brand new, nice swimming pool for both children and adults. The staff was very helpful. The food was very good and there was plenty to choose from. If you got tired of lying quietly by the pool or the sea, you can be with any of the things that existed, such as volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, etc. wit There were activities for both children and adults all day, which suited us great.

Excellent brand new hotel.
Clean rooms, great service, friendly staff, and good food. The apartments are close to the beach. The coastline has wonderful view.
The pool area is great with 2 big pools and one for the kids.

Special thanx to the animation team! Balu, Ester, Camilla, Carolina, Simon you guys made this holiday even more special!
They kept entertained everybody with activities all day (moring gym, aqua gym, waterpolo, darts, football etc.) and night (mini disco for kids, and shows).
You can not get bored in this hotel.

I highly recommend the place, I can't wait to go back!

Lovely new hotel with a great poolarea, children really loved it. Hotel staff - especially the nice bartender from the loungebar - he really made us feel like royalty!
Hotel spa and the massages were to die for, very good therapists and also the warm welcoming feeling we got every time we came to our treatments- thank you!
Hotel beach seemed a bit rough, it looked like the area wasn't quite finished.

A BIG minus was the adjoining door to the next room - there was no soundproof at all so it felt like the people staying there were in our room!

Otherwise a great hotel with lovely amenities...

Rooms:
We had a 2 room apartment.
The room have all a very nice design, it is clearly that there have been a plan here!.
The sad thing is that the finish is terrible and makes the impression much lower than what should be expected. Very sad since the quality of interior products used are high, it is the installation which really seems to have been done by “children”
I belive this hotel soon will suffer from this low finish detail, in many aspects the details will also collect dirt and further lower the impression.
When we arrived we really got a good first impression before seeing the details, especially the sleeping room was really nice.
But during our stay some workers came in and put on some ugly intermediate tiles on the wall destroying the clean straight line design made by the large stone tiles on the wall.
I assume it is because many tiles in other rooms had fallen down..
Loose tiles was a general problem in the hotel, also in the swimming pools.
Thousends of small tiles was loose an laying on the bottom. Also in the walkways many tiles was missing.
The hotel needs to use the winter well and solve this problems, and Apollo should look on each room and get fixed all that is not according plam:
Loose washtubs, Loose tiles, remaining dirt from building, remaining pencil prints in tiles (have the wall tiles been washed?), “Funny details”, loose wardrobe doors (fixed with only half of normal screws) +++
I must though say that the quality in reception building is much higher than in the rooms / apartments.
I will compare the hotel with a hotel which is 4-5 years old, not brand new as it really is.
Pool area:
Perfect formed, with good view to look out for the children.
The tiles between the pools are however very dangerous when wet (which they are always..)
Adults and children fell at their back all the time, it is a miracle if no one have had injuries yet.
The pool surrounding itself had a different tile, which as not slippery at all.
Strange that the hotel have used tiles which is this slippery, I do not understand this.
The water seemed to be a bit cold…

Food:
We had the all inclusive, and this just made all problems around in the hotel disappear!
It was the most perfect thing for a family with children, and the food was above all expectations!
In the morning there is a bit full, and to get a table can be difficult.
In the evening the show is inside this restaurant. (without the all inclusive you must pay for the buffet to see the evening shows)
To live in this hotel without the all inclusive is something you must not do!!
Also the service in the pool bar was excellent, and the children had all the icecream and slush as they could manage.

Beach:
Terrible, was there one day.
The beach is dirty ,there are no sand cleaning at night and many stones.
When entering the water it is muddy and very difficult to walk, it is also very deep so not suitable for children.
When you are in the water it is though nice for grown ups, the water is warm.
In this hotel 90% is around the pool areas.

Surroundings:
Maby the thing that is most against this hotel.
The surroundings are not what you want to see, it is best to stay within the hotel.
We had a walk to the nearest city Kolymbia, the road is really dangerous.. it is narrow and cars drives as crazy. Everywhere there are bottles and dirt laying around, no one who keeps the surroundings clean.
Even the persons working at the hotel seemed not to care about the surroundings.
One hotelguy went by our apartment in one of the hotels electric car and throw a half full bottle of water above the hotel fence to the road going down on the beach on the neighbor property.
They seemed to have great care of holding the hotel clean, but to throw a bottle above to the neighbor was “OK”.
I recommend to go on some Apollo guided tours, especially to Rhodos city.
If traveling with children as we did, you really do not need to leave the hotel area ;-)
We had 2 guided tours in 14 days.

+:
Food(!)
Nice rooms (after all)
Nice beds
Nice pool area
Nice play area for children
We did not want to leave after 14 days (we wanted to stay a week longer)
-
Quality of details
Location is very poor

Bottom line:
Many things which must be corrected before next summer, but even this year it is the perfect place for a family with small children (if you do not need to be on beach)

Room Tip: The rooms with pool could seem nice, but they are not.. They loose the sun very early!! The public p...
