Just stayed at the Nimar for a week. Billy, Terry and Eleanor can not do enough for you. Christine the chamber maid is lovely, and again so helpful. The Nimar is ideally located for all areas of the island, as it is on the main bus route. We managed to go to Lindos, Pefkos, Rhodes and Faliraki for peanuts. The apartments are plenty big enough, with air conditioning (you have to pay extra, 7 euros a night, or 45 for the week), TV, Grill, fridge, Kettle and Hob. All that is needed for the most avid self-caterer, and mugs as oppose to silly little cups. The Nimar bar serves great meals from 8am until 10pm, for the times that you fancy a night off. The beach is about a ten minute walk and the village is about a twenty minute walk, uphill on the way, but downhill on the way back. Terry will book a taxi for you at a cost of 7 euros, if you don't fancy the walk though. Try the Alpha bar in the village Tassos is great fun, and if you enjoy music you'll love the bar, cocktails are amazing!!! Many restaurants in the village to try, all of which are excellent, village locals very friendly, but not in a pushy way. If you're looking for relaxation and chilling out time ideal, if you want to party all night you might need to get the bus into Faliraki and a taxi back, but would still recommend the Nimar :-)x

Room Tip: Definitely go to the Alpha Bar, and try Mymis restaurant. If you're going in July/August, go to...

This has to be the most at home I have felt anywhere!!!
On arrival to greeted by two of the friendliest faces in Greece!!
Made better (after a long flight) to be given a drink to to leave the bags where they are and relax, to be made instantly at ease.
Both vasilis and lefteris are at hand, at any time, to answer any questions (again with a smile).
The whole 'village' is spotless, the food is simple but nice and very cheap.
Without any doubt we will be back here in the future and would recommend to anyone!! Thanks again guys

We arrived at the Nimar at around 12 midnight , ane were greated with free drinks from the two brothers Billy and Terry , later known to us a Mavrick and Ice man ( lol ) , who run this family run apartment block , within in a few minutes we felt like one of the family .

The rooms are very clean and large , with a fridge and cooking equipment (if reqd) , The air condtioning remote @ 45 euro's for the week is a must

20 Mins to the town , or 7 euro's and 5 mins in a cab , beach is around 15 mins away , and although pebbely , is very pleasent

we will be going back to the Nimar

A fantastic holiday started off with a warm welcome and drinks on the house! The apartments are in fab location...walk in to town only took 20 mins with a good choice of restaurants and bars, saying this the old house resturant situated 50m away was the best food we sampled while in greece and amazing value...its 15 mins to a pebble beach (we only went there once as I have a small child so we took the bus to falaraki beach on several occassions, as he loves the sand). Buses are very easy to catch with a regular service outside hotel.

The rooms themselves are spotless as is the rest of the hotel, large rooms with ample self catering facilities, Pool area is lovely and bar was great too.

Overall I would highly recommend a stay at Nimar, and would be happy to return.

Many thanks.

We arrived at the accommodation on 28 May and from the moment of our arrival we were greeted and welcomed as friends by Lefteris and Vassili. They were extremely helpful and informative. This continued throughout our stay as the accommodation got busier. This family run accommodation is a very good choice for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are new and spotless with excellent maid service. The walk into the village takes about 20 mins and it is worth taking up Lefteris' recommendations for restaurants, - our favourite was Sergios Pizzas in Afandou. The food at the bar was also excellent. The beach is about 15 mins walk with pebbles and very clear water. We would certainly visit Nimar Villaggio again if we go to Rhodes.

Thank you Lefteris and Vassili.

From our arrival to boarding the transfer to the airport my wife and I were thoroughly satisfied with our stay at the family run hotel, which is especially suitable for couples. We were warmly greeted by Lefteri with a drink and a personal briefing on the hotel and the local area. We were delighted with the room which exceeded our expectations, and the bar and pool area. Both were well presented and spotlessly clean.
Afantou village, which is a 20 minute walk, is a quiet location with a row of friendly bars with reasonable prices. There are also numerous restaurants although we generally ate at the Hotel where the menu is obviously limited but the food is very good. Definitely have the Souvlaki and Mixed Grill. The Hotel is situated on the main road from Rhodes Town to Lindos, and although we intended to hire a car, the bus service from Rhodes Town to Lindos was regular and generally punctual. Faliraki, which in the daytime is much quieter than it's reputaion, is only a short ride on the bus and is worth visiting.
Brothers Lefteri (Terry) and Vasilis (Billy) are great hosts who do everything they can to ensure their guests have a great time. They create a relaxing atmosphere which encourages guests to socialise and during our stay we became firm friends with four lovely couples - from South wales, Kent, Derby, and Sheffield - and we drank and ate together on many occasions. Their mother cooked a traditional Rodos meal for the 10 of us which was the highlight of our week.
By the end of the week our new friends and my wife and I were planning to return to Nimar Villaggio next year to meet up again. We were sad to leave our friends who were lucky to be staying another week.
