if you are spending some days in Capri, Il Riccio is the restaurant you cannot miss. The quality of the food, the service, the position are really a unique and special experience; I will remember it for years.

I stayed bere for a week and tried many of the most renowned restaurants. This one exceeds all of the others with exceptional food and service, offering fantastic fresh sea food. The maitre Imma is exceptional and helps guide you to the best food and wine available!

After having booked a month ago, and totally looking forward to going, just got back from Il Riccio beach club and Restaurant in Anacapri, and am pretty disappointed. Visually, the place (the restaurant) is a gem, done up in blue and white with a mesmerizing view of the Med and the Sorrentino coast, however, the attitude of the manager on duty (Roberto) was beyond rude. Anytime I asked him for anything he would send someone else to answer...what's up with that?! The food was definitely good, but absolutely not worthy of any stars...Michelin or otherwise! Another downer was the area where you can access the sea for a swim...total safety hazard trying to get in or out, as the ladder is covered in super slippery moss!
In conclusion, again, I reiterate that the restaurant's decor and views are wonderful...that's it! I definitely prefer La Fontelina over this place ANY day!

After a €35 beautifull taxi ride you are at a great location overlooking the sea from your table.
It was only there we found out it has a michelin star. Michelin or the restaurant must have had an off day.
The food and service were not impressive at all. The mozarella tasted like gummy and was just one big ball in a cup.
The lobster was like rubber and tasteless.
Service was not near to what you would expect in general. True, we were a late shift (15:00) but with invisable unfriendly hand were kick out.
And the price? High, and low value for money.
The way back taxi in 5 min. Or the bus every 20 min.
