This was our second time with Viaggi d'Ambra, and our experience was even better than it had been the first time four years ago. Chris was our tour guide both times. We traveled as a four-person group with a teenager and a child, both of whom also enjoyed the trip very much. Chris is like an old friend to all of us. We visited several Tuscan wineries, but our favorite was one called Altierro, where we had a homemade lunch with the family that owned the place. It was the highlight of our visit to Tuscany. The lunch was absolutely delicious, and the pasta was the best we'd ever tasted. The sauce of the pasta was wild boar sauce, and it had been cooked for three days before our arrival. The boar itself had been hunted in the forests nearby. The meal was great, and the family was friendly and pleasant. Afterwards, we visited San Gimigniano. Throughout the whole tour, Chris gave a lot of information on the history and stories of the places we visited. Overall a very good tour!
