“Heaven in Located in Tuscany!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

Montevarchi is your perfect spot to explore Tuscan. Why? Just because from here you can quickly reach several places (Siena, Arezzo, Florence). And now you wonder where to stay ?! Easy… at the best Agriturismo in Tuscany … Villa Le Vigne! This was our second stay there. We’ve enjoyed the marvelous Le Vigne apartment and Casa Primetta B., both of them are clean, spacious, nicely decorated and have all the amenities of home. Not in the mood to cook? You can prepare a nice barbecue while enjoying the swimming pool, everything is also there waiting for you, on a beautiful carefully treated garden. Still not happy with these choices? Then simply go to La Vasca and enjoy a delicious meal with a juice piece of meat and some great wine!
Woke up, looked out of your window, appreciated the wine yard views and still have no idea of what to do … No problems at all, there is an angel here called Serena. She is there waiting to give you lots of ideas! No matter if you wanna shop till you drop in one of the outlets in the area, or if you wanna simply hit the road and enjoy Tuscany, she will have something for you!
Thank you guys for providing such a lovely stay to our Tuscany vacation! Already looking forward to see you guys again hopefully in 2015!
Rita & Ben

Our cottage for five people came complete with a fireplace, big kitchen, deck, and comfortable beds- all decorated in a cozy Tuscan style. Andrea met us at the gate and showed us the grounds that include a BBQ area and pool. The area overlooks the grapes that they make an award winning wine from (I bought several bottles of the Cosimo I). The place was very clean and I slept quite well both evenings that I stayed there. I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed some R&R at the B&B. I hope to come back soon.

We only stayed one night but had a lovely welcome from Serena. We stayed in the Nonna Stella suite. Absolutely beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Had a full kitchenette with oven and gas cook top. Fully stocked with everything you need. Excellent location to visit the Tuscany region. I would pass on the €5 breakfast as you have all the facilities to make a quick or a full breakfast in the suite. Prada factory outlet is only a 5 minute drive! Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany. The location Villa Le Vigne was great in terms of travelling around Tuscany (close to Firenze, Sienna, etc.), yet the village the guest house is located in, Montevarchi, is very not interesting and there is nothing to do there. Every excursion involves driving for half an hour out of the town.
The guesthouse itself was cosy and peaceful, however there were several disadvantages: there wasn't much light, the window we had faced the yard and so we didn't have any sense of privacy, and the room was quite dusty. The shower in the bathroom was the most problematic, as there was practically no way to keep the water from flooding the floor. You may be better of choosing a fresh breakfast elsewhere. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Villa Le Vigne is a beautiful bed and breakfast. We only wish we had spent more time there so we could have enjoyed the beautiful pool and garden. Our room was very comfortable and we were delighted to receive a complimentary bottle of villa Le Vigne wine ( unfortunately still stuck in customs). We also drove into Montevarchi for the wine-tasting dinner at their restaurant. It was excellent and the service was great. Try to hold back a little with the first 3 bottles of wine so you can enjoy the last, best variety. Andrea and Serena were exceptionally helpful.

Room Tip: Be careful that you choose the fastest route if you are using a GPS. Otherwise you will get a beaut...

We made prior arrangements to arrive later than the usual check-in time and the owner Andrea was there to receive us warmly. The farmhouse is delightfully charming! Our room was cosy and beautifully decorated with lovely painted wooden furniture and even had a kitchenette. The complimentary bottle of wine which the winery produces was a nice touch. We opted to have breakfast in the breakfast/kitchen area which was a help-yourself set up. Good range of cereals, breads, yogurt, etc. During our stay, the weather was cold, grey and wet so we couldn't use the pool nor spend our time outdoors. And we finally got to meet the lovely Serena whom I had been emailing prior to our arrival! They have a cute cat (forget his name) who apparently likes to bunk in with the guests. He does scoot in and heads directly under the bed should you leave your door open!
