Stayed in this R&C property for 2 nights. Service was friendly and efficient. Room was comfortable and well furnished. However, shower area was tight, water pressure was low, and wifi was erratic. Breakfast was impressive. Parking on site.

A lovely small hotel in the heart of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene prosecco wine region, part of the exclusive Relais & Chateaux reservation system. A couple of old town houses plus a luxurious Venetian style old Villa all converted into hotel with a Michelin star crowned classy dinner restaurant, a cozy bistro and a dozen or so rooms. Straight in the centre of the small town of Follina. Everything from reception to departure runs smoothly and efficiently. As far as we were concerned, mostly thanks to the one-man-band hotel manager Giovanni, who acted as a perfect and efficient porter, receptionist, concierge, wine tasting organizer, waiter, highly educated sommelier and finally cashier. Unique, bravo and cordial thanks! Also everyone else was extremely friendly and always smiling. Housekeeping checks your room every time you leave the hotel during the day and keeps it constantly immaculate.

Our room was far from spacious considering the five star status, bathroom with only a shower, but with a good collection of small cosmetic items. A lovely small veranda was hardly useful at the time due to less than perfect weather, must be excellent for a romantic nightcap (or breakfast) in the summertime, though.

Interior design of the hotel slightly verges on kitschy, but warm and friendly. I think most of the items you see (except for the abundant truly old pieces) can be bought in a sister shop in the same complex. The only second thought that I have considering the price (I understand it is the most expensive hotel in the region) is the breakfast self-service choice. All items which I alway find included at this level are extras here, starting from simple fried eggs. No salamis, just cooked and smoked ham, three different cheeses, no complimentary cooled prosecco… Short by all means, although nicely presented. Nevertheless, I understand that most customers are not looking for more - the target population are quiet 40+ couples, interesting in golf, wine, or simply exploring the beauties of the area below Dolomiti mountains. At this age one is as a rule more careful about food, and there was more than enough of, well, healthy items also for breakfast.

I would heartily recommend the hotel to middleaged or elderly well-to-do people, who want calm serenity and some days truly off. Not for families with small children (God forbid, for the guests' sake!) or adventurous adrenaline-filled youths.

My family and I have stayed here twice, loved our stay and the staff. Top notch and very helpful. Recommend that any one visit.Hope to visit a third time. We didn't want to leave upon our time to check out. Stayed 3 extra days with no wait in fitting us in.May I add at the time of peak season. We were taken care of with 5 star standards from the moment we arrived within the gates.

My wife and I stayed here in early August and liked it so much that we changed our itinerary in the Veneto to return later in the month. The rooms and the garden are beautiful, but the personal warmth and generosity of spirit demonstrated by the owner/managers are unique. We have seldom experienced such a peaceful ,friendly ,welcoming environment with great cuisine, wine and charm. It has become our favorite place in Italy. Local activities for us include biking, hiking and enjoying prosecco.

Room Tip: Room 20 in the original villa is pretty special

This family run hotel is everything that hospitality should be - authentic, genuine, attentive. The hotel is impeccable and very clean. My husband and I arrived with a 1 year old baby at midnight and we were warmly received. We had not had dinner so the owner kindly brought us fruits, teas and cookies. The hotel is family run with members of the family working in various functions. You dont have the cheesy industrial anonymous welcome of all the oversized chain hotels here, but authentic Italian family welcome and excellent hospitality. The room was very charming and pretty and exactly like the photos on the website. I am very picky about cleanliness travelling with a baby, but this place was extremely clean. The coffee shop is charming and their cookies and baked goods are delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful and small boutique hotel that exudes charm and hospitality. We could not have asked for a more comfortable and exclusive stay. While the hotel is located in a very small town, there is much to see in the surrounding countryside.

This is a luxurious, yet personalized hotel at the southern base of the Italian alps. It is in the Proseco producing region, and the hotel manager will suggest not only wonderful examples, but help with arranging visits. The rooms are very comfortable, with all Relais et Chateau amenities. The main restaurant has a Michellin star, and offers a tasting menu of local specialties. There is also a bistro for informal dining, where it's best to take the recommendation of the day. The breakfast buffet will carry you through a day of touring. Just across the street is a beautiful abbey, easy to visit.

Room Tip: We were on the third (american counting)floor, which was a climb' but the room was very quiet an...
