Spent 6 nights at Can Furios mid-Sept and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. This is a most attractive, beautifully restored old Mallorcan building in a very peaceful location in the mountain foothills. All the rooms (both bedrooms/suites and public areas) are full of charm and character and the garden is so colourful and interesting. You feel completely encased in a private haven.
The food (and local wine!!)are absolutely delicious and the dining experience is given an extra edge because of the various outside dining locations, especially at night surrounded by dozens of candles.
The icing on the cake here is definitely the proprietors--Adrian and Suzy. From the moment we arrived, and until our departure, they welcomed us into their home and provided such a personal service. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really pampered.
We needed a break "away from it all" and a chance for lots of R and R. We certainly got that here.

We stayed at the Can Furios 5 years ago and have been keen to return, finally being able to do so in late September. Everything about the booking process was fine - quick responses to e-mails and a promise of our 2005 room being available. A late change of arrival time initiated by us was accommodated without problem.

Upon arrival, everything was as good as last time. Adrian and Suzy could not have been more attentive and my wife's strange diet - no fish cheese or eggs - was accommodated without any apparent problem. As before, the room was spotless and wonderfully equipped. Availability of a kettle and tea and coffee making equipment was appreciated.

Great evening meals were provided and served in a relaxed but professional way. Breakfast is divine - Suzy's croissants are to die for. She was in great form and regaled us with tales of her time in the UK working with Adrian but always in a splendid spirit and very entertaining.

Absolutely no problems - nothing is too much trouble. The only disappointment was having to leave!

Well I hate to be boring.... but everything has been said about this little piece of paradise! I suspect like many others that have stayed in the can furios I would have liked to have given more than 5 stars!! I feel that the reason that this place is so special is not the fact that the surroundings are picture perfect and the rooms are clean and relaxing,...... which obviously they are.... but it is purely due to Adrian, Suzy and Sophie. This family are probably the most genuine, hard working, people you will ever have the good fortune to meet and they have the knack to make everybody feel welcome and special. If you are lucky enough to stay here I would advise you to eat here every night (well apart from Monday when the owners take a very well deserved night off) and go along with Adrian's wine recommendations. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

If you are browsing Tripadvisor looking for the perfect peaceful, romantic getaway – you have just found it. We stayed for four nights in early September, as part of a week’s visit to Mallorca. It was a celebratory holiday and we wanted to go somewhere special. Can Furios is a special place!

Like you, we browsed Tripadvisor to find ‘a really good hotel’ and stumbled on this gem. You will notice the previous reviews for Can Furios are all excellent. There is a perfectly good reason for that. This little hotel hidden away in the Mallorcan countryside is excellent. Though, once you have stayed there, ‘excellent’ doesn’t seem to do it justice. ‘Perfect’ is perhaps a much better description. The hotel is incredibly clean, with just six guest rooms and spacious facilities that could easily cope with twice that number, and the standard of the rooms is impressive. The swimming pool and garden are an oasis of paradise, and in 30o of sunshine the perfect place to laze around, read a book, chill out and top up the tan. The only sound for most of the day is the gentle chiming of bells which hang from the necks of the sheep grazing in the adjacent farmland. You just wouldn’t believe how therapeutic that sound is.

Similar facilities can be found elsewhere, that is true. But what makes Can Furios special are the hosts, Adrian, Suzy and Sophie. They make you feel welcome – almost like a long lost family member, yet without ever being intrusive or over-bearing. Their advice on local sightseeing is invaluable (though once we arrived, our prior intentions of exploring the local countryside where abandoned in favour of making the most of the facilities and the sunshine), and they make travel easy with advice on times to/from the airport or the local attractions.

We opted to stay in for dinner the first night. That was when we discovered Suzy’s cooking. To dine on the patio, lit up by candles, with soft gentle music, the stars high in the sky and Suzy’s incredible, beautiful food was easily the highlight of our week in Mallorca. If you want a romantic setting for a beautiful meal, it doesn’t get much better than this. We were only there four nights, we ate in for three of them. When we go again (and we most definitely will) I suspect we will eat in every night.
Adrian, Suzy and Sophie – thank you for treating us so well. We will see you again, we promise

Just returned from what I can only describe as a magical week at the Hotel Can Furios. This beautiful hotel is superbly run by owners Suzy and Adrian. We were so well looked after; beautiful food, especially dinner in the evening, cooked by Suzy and enjoyed sitting under the stars. I understand that the restaurant is being described as one of the top ten restaurants on the island and I can certainly see why. Unpretentious and delicious. The hotel itself is a converted 16th century monastery and is a dream. The bedrooms are so elegant, yet extremely comfortable. The pool area is magnificent and the pool itself is really lovely.
I am sure that I have not done this beautiful hotel justice but I am sure if you read other peoples reviews you will get a fuller and more acurate picture. We will certainly be going back next year!!!
