Once again my dog Harry and I stayed at Kirsty & Ben's lovely guesthouse. Home from home, a warm welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble. Book early if you want to stay here, they book up quickly.
First class accommodation, breakfasts, service and location. See you again very soon :)

We stayed here for four nights at the end of May. The cottage is lovely and breakfasts are yummy. Perfect to set you up for all the walking you will no doubt do during the day. The guest house is centrally located in Hugh Town close to the beaches, shops and quay for boat trips. And, the Community bus stop picks up almost outside their front door which is so handy. A lovely family run establishment and we highly recommend it.

We stayed with Ben & Kirsty in August and we have nothing but good to say. The breakfasts were well cooked and generous. The rooms were comfortable, the front garden was a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. I think anyone who is hesitating because they think self-catering will be easier should think again. We will definitely be back, the location is so convenient for boat trips, shops and pubs! Our dog was made very welcome even to the extent of using the dog shower in the back garden! We chose Evergreen based on previous reviews and found that the reviews were spot on. Well done Ben & Kirsty for helping us have such happy holiday memories.

We stayed two nights with family dog and were made very welcome. Out most of the time and able to relax in a room that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked beautifully, this really set you up for the day. Ideally located, community bus service stop was on the door step. We would stay here again.

I had a weeks stay in August with my parents, their dog, my husband and our (at the time) 10 month old daughter and couldn't recommend it enough. Nothing was too much trouble, Ben and Kirsty were wonderful hosts, kind, funny and very friendly.
Breakfast was fantastic, with a good selection and very yummy cooked breakfasts - we were all full until the afternoon! My daughter was accommodated (given rusk and scrambled egg to her hearts content!) and they even lent us a high chair to use at less child friendly restaurants.
It is central and close to all the amenities, even though my husband I had a room at the front of the cottage, we found our room peaceful in the evenings.
I certainly would recommend and return to Evergreen Cottage!

Well what a top friendly place to stay. Location central to everything, and minuites away from beaches and amenities. Ben and kirsty are genuinely the nicest people in the buisness. Home from home. Best breakfasts around, very comfy bed and cosy rooms. If ANYONE had anything other to say they are the 0.1% and need to look at their manner and make up but suspect everyone agrees. My comments mirror the Visitors book and the number of repeate bookings. Value for money 1st class. Done Waldorf Astoria, carribean cruise but for a real sense of valkue for money, this takes some beating. Well done Ben, Kirsty, from Chris, Jill and Ruby.

This is a lovely place, run by friendly and welcoming people. Ben and Kirsty Kirk are great, and Kirsty makes a very good breakfast, aided by Ben of course. The cottage is a very relaxing place to stay, with very clean rooms with fresh laundry and towels.
If you visit the Islands this is wonderful place to stay, well located in the middle of the town, walking distance form all the pubs, bars, shops and quay but still quiet and tranquil.
The front garden is great place to have your morning coffee, from the cafe next door, which is also run by Kirsty and Ben.
Whats more the local bus service around the island stops right outside the door.
