“Relaxing, romantic & just beautiful.”

We stayed here over the WA Day long weekend for our anniversary & loved every second. From the moment we arrived, Rita & Colin made us feel very welcome, showed us around our accommodation & how everything worked etc. They really have thought of everything you could possibly want/need for a relaxing break away & we couldn't fault the chalet or location at all. Even the lovely touch of Ritas home made aromatherapy sprays & soaps, which were beautiful! It was lovely to have the choice of being inside in the lovely warm living room, out in the private garden, up on the romantic deck in the spa or sauna or even out by one of the two dams on the property both equally as lovely as each other. We've been to a few other places for a relaxing weekend away, but Mumbles certainly beats them all. We both left feeling completely relaxed, hadn't had to worry about a thing the entire weekend... only that we couldn't stay longer! Can't wait for our next visit. Thank you so much, Rita & Colin; Mumbles really is a credit to you.

“Peaceful solitude”

My wife and I visited for a rainy weekend and loved the views across the valley while sitting in the hot tub. We took an evening stroll up the Bibbiumun track which runs right by Mumbles. It is a wonderful spot to just relax.

We will be back.

“Fantastic View - Attention to detail Amazing”

Thanks Colin & Rita, for letting us stay at your amazing property. Peaceful, spotlessly clean, everything provided even a bottle of champagne. The balcony was perfect for watching the birds and the amazing full moon coming up over the rolling hills. We will be back to see how Colin's bridge turned out.

This was the most relaxing and beautiful place. The facilities were excellent, management were friendly and approachable. Ideal place for a weekend or longer, or for a romantic interlude for a couple or a family getaway. Will definetly be back again.

“First class”

Colin & Rita are the type of hosts you want to have when booking a romantic getaway for that special occasion. Their attention to detail is very noticeable from the comfy bed & recliner couch, & right through to the fluffy towels & homemade air freshener. They take pride in what they have created & make it their mission to make sure you are comfortable in every way. We enjoyed the coffee machine, the outdoor bar-b-que, the private outdoor sunken spa complete with fairy lights wrapped around the tree. We could choose to eat our meals at the inside or outside tables. The
decor was in good taste, the private lake was lovely. So much to do in the area including a beautiful walk on the Bibbulmen Track to Glen Mervyn Dam which starts from right outside the property. We walked it early before breakfast (1.15 hours each way), swam in the dam, then enjoyed a well deserving breakfast. Price was decent considering no expense spared in the creation of this lovely retreat.
