“PEACEFUL GETAWAY”

The chalet was nicely decorated & very clean. The spa had an awesome view across the paddock & to the hills. Our stay was very relaxing & enjoyable. There is plenty around the area to try, buy or admire. Alternatively you can just relax do nothing & take in the scenery. I can't wait to go back there!

Stayed for 3 nights. It was pretty busy but that's to be expected over the Easter/Anzac day period. The facilities were very good, especially the steaming hot showers. Nicely located half way between Denmark and Warpole.

Morning Tim D,
You certainly picked a busy time to visit, so while you may not have had the tranquility that we usually have as a feature of Ayr Sailean, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Easter and New Year are the only time of year we completely fill, so for the rest of the year our guests have heaps of space to themselves. We look forward to seeing you next time you make it south.
Regards,
Gail

Our seven day stay began with an interesting entrance to the property.
We loved everything about the place. The facilities were of a very high standard, the views were great.
Our caravan site allowed us to be entertained by the farm animals each evening, and the bird life was great.
Easy access to Walpole thru to Denmark and all the beautiful beaches and wineries.
This is not a once only stay, the maginitism of Ayr Sailean is magical.
Thank you to Gail & Dave and Socks.

This was our first trip with our caravan. We stayed here first week in January. We did not know what to expect. What a great spot. The ablution block was spotless every day and was cleaned twice a day from what we could see. Great that you have free use of washing machine.
Lots of grassed areas. In a great spot that you are halfway between Denmark and Walpole and also close to a few tourist spots and beaches. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Great views while sitting and relaxing.
Will stay here again.

Thank you for your kind words. And yes, the facilities are cleaned twice a day during peak periods. We look forward to seeing you next time you make it down to our beautiful part of the SW. I am sure their are many more attractions for you to see, especially as the seasons change.
Kind Regards,

Well we did not know what to expect when we decided to camp over Christmas. We were very surprised to arrive at a clean camp site with extremely clean shower and kitchen facilities. We expected absolute bare minimum so were so happy when we seen the facilities here and how well looked after they had been kept. It was a peaceful site closeby to many beautiful places to visit.
The only issue we had which unfortunately caused us to leave a day earlier was those flies, which were nothing to do with the camp site at all and could not be helped by the owners. The only issue we had but unfortunately an awful one. We were very happy with our stay and thank you for your service. Really don't understand anyone who would moan about anything other than the pesky flies because it is faultless!

So glad you liked our campsite and that you enjoyed our well equipped camp kitchen and clean ablutions. As for the flies, can only recommend coming a month later when the dung beetles have come into play and the country no longer has the fly problem. Aeroguard is a permanent portion of the daily program at this time of year :-). Do come again, and we will credit you with the day you left early.
Regards, Gail.

This was our first stop on a one way trip from Perth to Melbourne. We camped on a powered tent site. The site was soft and grassy with a tap for running water close by and the site we chose had a small camp fire pit for that extra "outdoors" feel.

I would definetly recommend this place to the usual caravan parks if you want peace and quiet like outback bush camping... only with some of the camping luxuries like electricity and running water. Facilities were clean and didn't feel neglected, the camp kitchen was also well equipped.

Phone reception was off and on (but why would you want it on in a place like this anyway?) Our host was pretty easy going, she told us prior to arrival that because it was a working ranch she may not be at reception and to grab the map that was on the door and pick out one of the "marked available" sites. She later came down in the evening to check us in and see if we needed anything.

Tola, We are so pleased you enjoyed the "outdoors" feel of Ayr Sailean. We aim to provide the country tranquility of camping, yet supply those all important items of water, power if needed, and clean spacious and well equipped amenities of Ablution Block and large enclosed Camp Kitchen, suited to our climate. We don't think there is anything nicer than to go to sleep with just the night sounds of the occasional bird and wake up to the dawn chorus, away from the hustle of daily life, yet with the comforts of good facilities.
Regards,
Gail
