“Great place to stay. Book it now!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 January 2013

I only stayed for 1 night, however I was able to appreciate the ammenities and location that Newberry Manor had to offer. Both Sally and her Husband were extremely friendly and offered many tips on the local attractions. They are located close to the beach and I was able to jog down tot he coast and enjoy a run looking out across beautiful water and the natural landscape.

The rooms are massive and the bathrooms are as large as my living room at home! Plenty of room to lay out luggage and still ahve space to walk around.

The breakfast menu which was included in the price is fantastic. The omlette that had was first rate. I could swear that the cook was french! (which he was)

As I was on business the only thing that would of made the stay perfect as opposed to brilliant was that I needed some sort of desk to work on in my room. I was offered the office which I graciously accepted so it wasn't a huge drama. More of a blip.

I'll be staying here again.

Thanks.

Nic.

Thank you so much for this lovely review Nic. It was a pleasure meeting you and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It is great that although you were on a business trip, you managed to go for a jog along the coast. It is so beautiful. As you are into sport, you may want to know that Dunsborough and its immediate vicinity are hosting numerous sports events throughout the year: iron man, anaconda adventure event, Xadventure race (taking place in March 2013) to name a few.
We shall look forward to seeing you again.

Newberry Manor is an exceptionally well appointed guest house. Serge and Sally Le Goueff are so friendly and attentive. Both are extremely passionate about the welfare and comfort of their guests and ensure everything is just right. Breakfasts are superb (their smoothies are brilliant!). Attention to detail is great down to the basket full of chocolates next to the port bottle and glasses in the sitting room. With the installation of a swimming pool, (about to commence), it will be even nicer although it is so nice now even without a pool. We will most definitely stay there again. Defintely Five Stars!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Orchid room upstairs. Brilliant with its own balcony overlooking the garden. Bed is...

Our stay at Newberry Manor was AMAZING, We were looking for a nice quiet place to relax for one night and that is exactly what we got plus so much more. When we arrived the whole place looked wonderful, It was so quiet and peaceful and so much nicer than a hotel. The warm welcome that you get from Sally & Serge is fantastic! They are such lovely & helpful people, it was a pleasure staying with them. We stayed in the Rose suite and it was absolutely gorgeous with everything you would need plus so much more, the double spa was awesome so relaxing with beautiful candles. The Breakfast that we received in the morning was unbelievable and cooked to perfection and also included in the room rate. We will definitely be going back as often as possible and would highly recommend to all our friends and anyone who wants a nice quiet weekend away with exceptional service.

Room Tip: The Rose suite was very secluded and quiet. It was lovely to sit, relax and enjoy a drink not only i...

Our stay at Newberry Manor was beyond our expectations. The service was exceptional and Sally was warm and helpful during our stay. The location was within a comfortable walking distance to the Dunsborough township as well as to the beautiful beach/coastline. The room itself was unbelievable. We stayed in the Orchid suite upstairs which was very large, comfortable, clean and opened up to a gorgeous verandah overlooking the garden. In summary- Newberry Manor was outstanding in all the areas you would want: service, quality and location.

Room Tip: The orchid suite upstairs was extremely generous in size with all the luxuries you could want.

Thanks so much for your lovely review - we are incredibly lucky to be so close in to the centre of lovely little Dunsborough but with such amazing beaches and beautiful bays just a few hundred metres away too! Hope you can come back and enjoy it again sometime.

We could not fault Newberry Manor. From an initial enquiry, to the actual booking Sally was fantastic. We were there only for 1 night for a function down South and I didn't want to leave.
The upstairs room was amazing. Sally had thought of everything, all the little touches you expect in a 5 star hotel, you got it here and then some.
The breakfast was amazing. I rave on about this place and would highly recommend it. The best B&B I have ever stayed at.

Room Tip: Ive only stayed in the upstairs room but it was wonderful.

Arrived late not knowing what to expect - amazing welcome by owner Stacey, walked us to our room that was absolutely fantastic. Attention to detail down to the quality of sheets, quality of service and of amenities (DVDs, quick wifi, books, things to do, maps, local restaurants, .....)
Breakfast was a feast - best omelette in months and the crepes were top (and we're French and notoriously difficult to please :)
I am still in the room writing this review and getting ready to leave (I never write reviews as I always forget to) as it's difficult not to share the beauty and service of Neweberry Manor with future Margaret river tourists !!
Enjoy WA !

I was taught to cook crepes by a Frenchman (mon mari!) so I'm very happy they are up to scratch :) It was great to meet you both - enjoy the rest of your holiday. Sally

Very welcoming and comfortable for exploring the gorgeous Margaret River area. I spent a night here and explored the local beaches, some of the most beautiful in the world. It was an easy drive from Perth and is well positioned for day trips to multiple destinations.

Hi James, you're right we live in a stunning area of natural beauty here - and your compliment of the beaches is much appreciated, coming from someone who's traveled as extensively as you :) I hope you're enjoying your current adventures. All the best, Sally
