Fantastic B&B experience. Sally and Serge were friendly and helpful; and were extremely accommodating of our requests. The attention to detail made the stay memorable. The breakfast menu is broad, and the food was delicious.

My first visit to Newberry Manor and what an amazing experience it was, my stay was supposed to be for two nights but having experienced the brilliant hospitality of both Sally and Serge along with the amazing location and serene atmosphere another night was definitely on the agenda. I apologise for the cliche but seriously it doesn't get any better than this, My experience was better than i could ever have hoped for. I will recommend Newberry Manor to all, and for all requirements.

Room Tip: all rooms are enormous and serene

But when the pool's finished there will be more ... and you're invited back to enjoy it anytime! So let's share a glass of wine around the pool on your next visit.

“The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life.” William Morris, author of the quote, would have found Sally and Serge exceedingly happy as attention to detail is what makes Newberry Manor exceptional. They strove to make our two night stay an unforgettable experience through so many aspects including warm and personalised hosting, luxuriously appointed rooms and bathrooms, chocolates and port graciously provided and intimacy and exclusivity one can only have in a boutique establishment. To work off the heavenly breakfast (the Newberry Triffle is a must), I highly recommend running (or walking for those living on the not-so-fast lane) along the bay which gives long, unbroken trails and breathtaking views. Thank you very much Sally and Serge, we look forward to coming back and bathing in the new pool!

Another night would have been great. We had such a lovely welcome and great room. Beautiful walk via the beach into town, nested in a quiet spot. Loved the massive bath, the fireplace, chocolates and port. Breakfast was awesome. Could not have found better anywhere. Having left my purse in the room, I was amazed to see that Sally had tracked me down in town just before we left. Saved me a lot of bother. Look forward to returning.

A big bath, roaring fire, chocolates and port is what every winter weekend should entail don't you think? Really great to hear you had such a good time and hope to see you again sometime.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the "Rose" room. The room is a very generous size with a very comfortable king size bed & is beautifully furnished. It also has tea & coffee making, fridge & microwave.
The bathroom is also large with a double spa, double wash basins & huge shower.
The guest lounge has a wood fire, books, magazines, CDs DVDs & Chocolates - all very welcoming and comfortable.
Breakfasts are wonderful with a lovely selection & the dining room overlooks the garden.
Sally is a very special host & made us very welcome - we'll be back!

Room Tip: Booking on line for Newberry Manor is the best site I've used so far, included being able to cho...

We booked this B&B to attend a friend's wedding in the area. The most unfortunate thing was that we could only stay 1 night! Our room was absolutely gorgeous. As we had told our hosts at booking that besides for our friends' wedding, it was also our anniversary weekend, they left an anniversary card for us! Very comfortable, great garden surroundings and we made use of the spa! Breakfast was also very nice. Would highly recommend!

A pleasant surprise and Newberry has reinvigorated our love of B&Bs. Don't be put off by the current garden works as once through the doors of Newberry manor one is transported into true understated luxury as the sign outside states. The bedrooms are equipped with all that is needed to enjoy your stay; refreshments, the most value for money minibar I have ever seen", large spa in a massive bathroom and that is all before finding the comfy lounges in front of the fire with excellent port and chockies to end the night. Breakfast was delicious and better than major hotels. Sally was a hostess with the mostest and it was a shame we only had one night. Highly recommended.
